• Organize and execute a business plan to meet territory sales goals and customer needs • Develop new customers and grow existing customers • Utilize approved sales/marketing tools within budget • Timely and effective communication of market and competition trends as well as requests for pricing or payment exceptions • Increase IKO market share in territory • Develop relationships and grow sales with assigned distribution customers in territory • Frequently contact roofing contractors, remodelers, builders, and architects to drive demand for IKO products • Present products and programs to qualified distributors and end users on a weekly basis • Perform Product Knowledge (PK) training sessions with customers • Follow up on inquiries from customers or IKO administration in a timely fashion • Submittal of weekly Intelligence Reports in a timely fashion • Attend meetings, functions and company provided training as required • Investigation and processing of product quality complaints in territory • Adhere to all IKO policies and procedures, including Health and Safety and Vehicle policies • Any other responsibilities as assigned
• Ensure successful installations of solar products • Provide exceptional support to customers and third-party suppliers • Train staff and create technical documentation • Serve as primary point of contact for technical inquiries
Role Description Remote opportunity, Territory covers: Tennessee to Kansas City, Missouri. - Liaise with the commercial contracting community and perform quality assurance inspections of ongoing and completed commercial roofing jobs. - Prepare and conduct both theory and hands-on commercial product training for existing and potential Registered Contractors. - Produce written inspection and quality assurance reports for internal and external customers. - Work with contracting community and distribution network on product education and promotion. - Conduct warranty claims investigations when appropriate. - Attend and participate in related association events to promote IKO Commercial products. - Attend internal meetings, functions and company provided training as required. - Adhere to Health and Safety policies as well as IKO Vehicle policies. - Any other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications - Several years of hands-on experience in commercial roofing including exposure to installation methods for TPO roofing and other related products. - Ability to read technical roofing documentation/specifications. - Comfortable working with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and other office technology. - Formal training on roofing installations/quality control with large national roofing company is a plus. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Must have a valid driver’s license and can travel throughout the designated territory with potentially some overnight stays. Requirements - 3-5 years direct hands-on experience in commercial roofing business. - Ideally has experience with quality assurance and roof inspections with roofing contractor. - Understanding of commercial roofing assemblies and their applications. - Driver’s License in good standing required. - Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
