Role Description IDEXX is looking for a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our high-impact, collaborative indirect procurement team. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders while owning a portfolio of indirect spend, with a primary focus on technology and software categories. Qualifications - 5–8 years of indirect procurement and strategic sourcing experience, with ownership of supplier portfolios. - Proven ability to independently lead end-to-end RFP processes for contracts valued at $250K+. - 1–2+ years of experience sourcing IT and/or software categories (including SaaS, subscriptions, or licensing models). - Strong contract knowledge with demonstrated success negotiating complex commercial agreements and driving measurable value. - Experience applying structured, multi-step sourcing methodologies (e.g., Kearney or similar frameworks). - Advanced negotiation skills with the ability to create leverage and consistently deliver favorable outcomes. - Strong business acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders across IT, Legal, Finance, and other functions without direct authority. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted advisor relationships. - Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and reprioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. - Strategic mindset with a focus on cost, risk, timing, and overall value optimization. - Agile, flexible, and solutions-oriented approach with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. - Demonstrated success leading complex sourcing initiatives, driving cost savings, and improving supplier performance. - Ability to work standard East Coast hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST); remote flexibility available for the right candidate.
