Role Description We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to help test and improve the Auto Apply feature - a product feature that automatically fills and submits job applications on ATS and job boards on behalf of users. You will focus on testing real user flows, ATS forms, auto-fill accuracy, application statuses, edge cases, failures, and overall product quality. - Manually test Auto Apply flows across different ATS and job boards. - Validate that application forms are filled correctly with user profile and CV data. - Check multi-step flows: signup, login, email verification, form filling, file upload, and application submission. - Test edge cases: missing required fields, invalid data, CAPTCHA, blocked pages, expired jobs, broken forms, duplicate applications. - Verify statuses and reports: queued, in progress, applied, failed, action required. - Reproduce bugs, write clear bug reports. - Work closely with developers, manual QA and SDET. - Help build and maintain regression checklists and test cases. - Validate UX logic for Auto Apply. - Support release testing and quality checks before production deployments. Qualifications - 3+ years of manual QA experience in web products. - Strong experience testing complex web applications. - Good understanding of frontend/backend interaction, APIs, browser behavior, cookies, sessions, redirects. - Experience with Jira / Linear, test cases, bug reports, and regression testing. - Ability to test messy real-world flows, not only happy paths. - Strong attention to detail and product thinking. - Experience with Chrome DevTools. - Basic understanding of API testing with Postman or similar tools. Role Description Looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js / Scraping Automation) to design and build the backend behind the auto-apply platform with a strong focus on ATS/job-board scraping and automation. This includes: - Browser automation - CAPTCHAs - IP blocking - Email-based verification flows - Multi-step login/sign-up journeys - Workers, queues, orchestration, status tracking, APIs, and observability What You’ll Do: - Design and develop a reliable web scraping & automation layer: handle and minimise CAPTCHAs, deal with IP blocking (IP rotation, proxies, rate limiting), automate systems with email verification, verification codes/links, logins, and other multi-step flows. - Design and develop the backend for the auto-apply system. - Build and scale high-load services: workers, task queues, flow orchestration. - Build a platform that scales reliably: retries, deduplication, throttling, graceful degradation, timeouts. - Design an architecture that scales across multiple ATS and job boards. - Design an architecture that supports horizontal scaling and remains resilient to unstable external systems, UI changes, deadlocks, and partial failures. - Set up monitoring and alerting for critical systems (CAPTCHA spikes, blocks, failure rates by ATS, queue health, etc.). - Work with the Tech Lead to shape realistic technical requirements, API contracts, and pragmatic implementation decisions.
