Qualifications - Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy required - Nebraska license required: LIMHP, LMHP, LCSW license required - 2 years of experience preferred - Valid driver’s license/ acceptable driving record Requirements - Demonstrates advanced clinical skills in diagnosis, intervention, formulation and implementation of stabilization plan utilizing a client centered approach. - Utilizes evidence-based practice models to provide therapeutic services to adults experiencing a mental health crisis. - Job duties focus heavily on crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization. - Conducts an adult mental health assessment within 24 hours of crisis client program admission. - Establishes a stabilization plan with the client, which specifies immediate treatment needs and follow-up. - Facilitates daily individual and/or group therapy sessions. - Maintains clinical records including client stabilization plan, client progress updates, therapy notes, and a treatment summary meeting established standards of timeliness and completeness. - Provides support and consultation to team members and client family members. - Trains direct care staff in therapeutic interventions and tools available to work with clients in crisis. - Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance. - Refers to other Heartland Family Service programs and other community services, as necessary, either concurrent with services or for aftercare. - Displays a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency. - Cooperates and collaborates with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff. - Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements. - Develops personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media. - Creates, maintains, and shares an appropriate and dynamic self-care plan. - Strives to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts. - Essential functions of this job are to be performed remotely from home on the HFS remote worksite. - Performs other program related duties as assigned. Benefits - Compensation: between $54,000 and $68,316 per year (salary is determined by total years of relevant experience) - Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) helps provide comprehensive, coordinated mental health and substance use services to the individual. CCBHC utilizes an integrated person, and family centered treatment plan to help ensure the individuals needs are being met. CCBHC offers access to care for any individual seeking help for mental health, substance use, or community support regardless of diagnosis, residence, or ability to pay. The goal of CCBHC is to provide a one stop shop for behavioral health services to the individual. SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK Professionals at this level are experienced and able to work with a minimum of supervision. Educational requirements are very specific. Decision making, problem solving, and highly developed interpersonal skills are critical. This position will work within a team environment. The individual will have the ability to sign up for weekday, evening/overnight or weekend coverage according to their availability. Frequency of coverage is extremely flexible. Compensation: between $19.74 and $23.54 per hour (wage is based on total years of relevant experience) Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week Click to see benefits and company perks MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (one or more of the following qualifications to be met): - Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, nursing, education AND a minimum of one year of experience in behavioral or mental health services - High School Diploma and two years of experience within the human services field. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Provides crisis intervention and risk assessment of clients for referral sources such as community members, law enforcement, or school systems. - Makes recommendations and referrals to the appropriate levels of care following a clinical consultation. Assessments are provided on-site and face to face. - Conduct a crisis focused assessment and documentation to be completed within 24 hours of crisis call. - Establishes an intervention plan, with client and referral source l participation, which specifies immediate treatment needs and follow-up. - Follow up with crisis clients 24 hours post crisis and maintain an ongoing case load for 30 days to follow. - Maintains relationships with key community resources, as well as provide referrals to clients. - Identify needs and goals for clients who are post crisis and serve as an ongoing intervention support. - Document all case management correspondence. - Ability to handle complex cases. - Ability to be on-call during the workday. Work Schedule: on call as needed Compensation: Weekly stipend if $140 week and $125/assessment completed MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy - Two years or more experience - Nebraska licensed required - LMHC or LISW required Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Provides crisis intervention and assessment of clients for the Crisis Center. Determines client needs and makes recommendations and referrals to appropriate level of care. Assessments are provided via telehealth, while the client is at the Crisis Center. - Conducts a crisis focused assessment within 30 minutes of the initial request and documentation to be completed within 24 hours of crisis call. - Establishes an intervention plan, with client participation, which specifies immediate treatment needs and follow-up. - Provides referrals to clients, including a direct referral to the Crisis Center’s case management program. - Ability to handle complex cases. - Ability to be on-call, Monday through Friday. Hours include availability from 5:00PM to 8:00AM on weekdays and entire day coverage on weekends. On-call requires answering of crisis phone during the night hours/weekends and ability to respond to situations via telehealth during those hours within 30 minutes. - Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance. - Refers to other Heartland Family Service programs and other community services, as necessary either concurrent with services or for aftercare. - Maintains clinical record, meeting established standards of timeliness and completeness. - Is prompt and accurate in completing all required reports, statistics and other requirements. - Displays a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency. - Cooperates and collaborates with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff. - Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements. - Develops personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media. - Performs other program related duties as assigned.
