Role Description HealthStream’s UX/Web Developer is a key member of the company’s Digital & eCommerce Marketing team. Key Responsibilities - Drive revenue through the sale of MedTech solutions, digital sponsorships, advertising, and integrated marketing offerings. - Drive sales for media offerings, including digital experiences, digital ads and listings, sponsored content, whitepapers, and newsletters; develop and execute a sales strategy for flagship digital and live events, including webinars, roundtables, conferences. - Present creative marketing solutions that help brands and their marketing agencies leverage HealthStream’s network of apps and sites along with its social channels. - Deliver campaign effectiveness reports to clients, including reach, traffic, engagement, lead generation, and ROI/ROAS. - Prospect and develop new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and industry engagement. - Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities by aligning customer needs with tailored solutions and securing stakeholder buy-in. - Develop and present compelling proposals, including product demonstrations, sponsorship packages, and ROI-driven business cases. - Negotiate contracts and close deals that meet customer objectives and company revenue goals. - Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to drive renewals, retention, and upsell opportunities. - Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver solutions aligned with client goals and organizational capabilities. - Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting. - Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans. - Deliver post-sale support and performance reporting, including campaign effectiveness and ROI metrics. - Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities. - Ensure compliance with company policies, including security and data protection requirements. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 5–7+ years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in healthcare, MedTech, and/or digital media/sponsorship sales. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in competitive environments. - Experience selling to and building relationships with executive-level stakeholders. Requirements - Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills. - Ability to develop creative, value-driven proposals and sponsorship offerings. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales pipeline management. - Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate performance metrics (ROI, engagement, etc.). - High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. - Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and matrixed team environment. - Self-motivated with a high degree of accountability and ownership. - Capable of influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority. - Strong business acumen with the ability to connect solutions to customer outcomes. - Ability to present complex solutions in a clear, compelling manner. - Highly driven to achieve individual and team sales goals. - Willingness to travel up to ~25%.
