• Drive design-in and design-win activity with ODM and data center customers • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer engineering teams, influencing system architecture and connector selection • Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Signal Integrity teams to deliver optimized interconnect solutions • Support integration and troubleshooting of connectors, cables, and high-speed interconnect systems • Identify and develop new application opportunities aligned to customer roadmaps and emerging technologies • Translate customer feedback into insights that influence product development and long-term strategy • Develop technical documentation and application notes to support customer adoption
• Act as the point of Contact along with Account Managers to ensure a fast response to all inquiries, internal and external. • Work as part of the sales team, which includes Tech Sales and Planners, to insure on-time delivery goals are met, track customer orders, and advise customers on late items. • Responsible for Contract Review in Salesforce to ensure all Smiths requirements are met; Process, prepare and follow-up on quotes. • Ensure that the product is returned for repair or credit is handled with priority. • Meet the 24Hr to 48Hr Sales goals for response time on data entry of orders and quotes. • Research status of orders, process expedites, reschedules, returns of material. • Refer qualified leads to appropriate Tech Sales Engineer or Sales that do not meet inside sales criteria. • Manage inside sales and business relationships within assigned region. • Participate in conference calls between internal groups to provide timely updates to the sales orders, cases, etc. • Adhere to the appropriate departmental sales processes, procedures, and policies. • Provide backup support to other Inside Sales Representatives as needed, including delegating the workload. • Produce reports as needed and required. • Other work-related duties as assigned.
• Develop civil engineering and site preparation designs for large-scale renewable energy projects. • Support construction activities by reviewing field conditions, responding to contractor questions, evaluating design adjustments, and helping resolve site challenges. • Apply engineering judgment to develop practical, economical, and constructible solutions while meeting project requirements. • Collaborate with project, structural, electrical, environmental, and construction teams. • Prepare and review grading plans, drainage studies, erosion and sediment control plans, SWPPP documentation, specifications, and related civil deliverables. • Perform site visits to evaluate terrain, drainage patterns, soil conditions, constructability considerations, and overall site development strategy. • Lead discussions with project stakeholders and help drive alignment on technical solutions. • Address challenges related to grading, drainage, erosion control, soil stabilization, and site constructability. • Identify opportunities to improve project cost, quality, schedule, and execution.
• Support concept development, ensuring designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet customer requirements. • Conduct DFMEA, FEA, tolerance analysis, and other analytical studies with guidance from senior engineers. • Create and maintain product models and drawings using GD&T, ensuring proper datum selection, dimensioning, and tolerancing, with support from experienced engineers. • Assist in documenting project scope, requirements, feasibility, and engineering work plans. • Develop test plans (DVP&R) and analyze test results using statistical methods; perform DOE, Hypothesis Testing, and Capability Studies. • Lead root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods like 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone diagrams with senior guidance. • Select materials for plastic injection molded and metal stamped components.
• Support build activities including design, configuration, deployment and migration in large-scale optical networks that spans long-haul terrestrial & regional metros. Interconnecting Data Centers and Point of Presence (POP) sites across the globe. • Plan, schedule and perform complex optical and backbone network deployments and migrations. Perform network maintenance, upgrades, and provisioning of new circuits or services • Work closely with NOC, field technicians, vendors, and engineering teams to resolve faults and perform root cause analysis. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to optical transport equipment and network connectivity. • Maintain standards for all builds and design packages for metro, regional and long-haul DWDM systems. • Maintain and update network documentation, including fiber routes, equipment inventory, and change logs. • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies after hours • Generate implementation plans and provide technical leadership and guidance during deployment activities • Review and maintain acceptance documents provided by vendors and subcontractors deploying equipment on our network • Provide technical expertise to network provisioning engineers for troubleshooting out-of-service or faulty circuits • Proactively contributes to documentation, automation and processes as they evolve • Support multiple stakeholder organizations by understanding, anticipating, and influencing business outcomes. • Exhibit proactive communication and think with a product and customer mindset • Leverage a data driven approach to influence business and network health metrics • Generate and analyze network performance reports; proactively identify areas for improvement • Travel required as needed basis (maybe up to 50%)
• You will be accountable for driving profitable growth and own the global account strategy and multi-year growth plan; identify and prioritize opportunities by aligning customer needs with internal capabilities. • Act as the primary relationship leader for the customer, engaging senior stakeholders and positioning the company as a trusted strategic partner. • Serve as primary senior stakeholder contact; supervise a local Field Application Engineer and lead a global account team to create alignment, accountability, and value. • Manage pipeline from opportunity to negotiation, launch, and account expansion; ensure quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction while protecting margins and managing risk. • Drive executive business reviews, coordinate regions/business units, and embed a contribution-minded culture focused on long-term partnership and measurable results.
• Develop new product designs handling all phases required to bring concepts into production. • Interact directly with customers in design phases to verify customer requirements and make design recommendations; read and interpret customer drawings. • Lead design-for-manufacturing (DFM) taking into consideration cost effective manufacturing materials and processes. • Full design cycle accountability. • Work directly with supporting design/manufacturing engineers and follow all product development steps from raw material to fabrication, machining, forming, plating, install through shipping. • Work with manufacturing teams to develop and establish cost estimates and project options. • Travel to visit customers and manufacturing facilities when necessary. • Responsible for follow-up, expediting all action items of a new product program. • Interface with external clients and internal partners to ensure design objectives are met in a timely manner and assists by providing product information, engineering samples and technical advice. • Perform hands-on activities including mechanical screen tests, prototype fabrication, and part measurements.
• Evaluate the Datacenter/AI rack market and customers, recognize trends and set forth a plan to penetrate business opportunities/applications • Define the customer engagement strategy with engineering teams • Work with the organization for technology roadmap vision and execution • Customer and industry engagements to drive voice of customer intelligence to our advance development teams.
• Manage and develop our commercial sales team including recruiting, retaining, and ongoing development of the team. • Build mutually beneficial partnerships between sales and operations as well as working collaboratively with other commercial business capabilities including Business Analytics, Revenue Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Salesforce Effectiveness, S&OP etc. • Brings a background of knowledge in the Northern California agriculture market to better support our sales team and customers. • Continuous improvement of overall profit margin & seek opportunities to innovate and drive profitability through strategic road mapping and understanding the impact to the P&L. • Responsible for creating market sales strategy & pricing that support a market focused vision. • Continuously build existing and prospective customer relationships. • Create value through customer success by adopting and utilizing our sales training process. • Hold the sales team accountable for a robust pipeline based on the needs of the region. • Ensure compliance & safety with applicable governmental regulations, GP standards, and site practices. • Utilize Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc.) and CRM Microsoft Dynamics.
• Position Molex as a preferred design partner in high-speed backplane and near package solutions, providing consultative design solutions and demonstrating the value of Molex’s offerings tailored to our hyperscale customer needs. • Collaborate with global sales teams to promote Molex’s backplane solutions across multiple market segments, including enterprise switching, datacenter and emerging technology sectors such as accelerated compute (AI/ML). • Identify and develop new product development opportunities through direct customer engagement, channel partners, and targeted marketing programs. • Understand the larger market eco system with a focus on customer portfolio’s, applications, and challenges to deliver tailored solutions and build long-term relationships. • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to align customer needs with Molex’s product roadmap and go-to-market strategies. • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market dynamics to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities. • Represent Molex at trade shows, conferences, and technical events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
