Role Description The Operating System Specialist is responsible for supporting the maintenance, audit, and optimization of Powerback Rehab’s contracted computerized billing and documentation platforms. This role provides essential technical assistance to users, ensures system configuration aligns with organizational policies, and delivers educational programs to drive user proficiency. - System Governance and Compliance: - Configuration Support: Assists the Director in ensuring all system settings and access controls reflect current organizational policies and procedures. - Audit & Compliance: Conducts regular system audits to maintain data integrity and documentation standards. - System Expertise: Utilizes extensive experience with Net Health EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and other therapy-specific platforms to maintain optimal software performance. - User Support and Customer Service: - Primary Liaison: Serves as a key corporate contact for employees regarding the day-to-day operation of billing and documentation software. - Technical Assistance: Provides direct support by resolving technical inquiries and troubleshooting software issues for end-users. - Service Excellence: Delivers high-quality customer service while maintaining professional rapport with coworkers and facility personnel. - Professionalism: Projects a positive and professional image in all interactions and corporate representations. - Training and Educational Development: - Training Implementation: Coordinates and facilitates educational programs for employees and customers regarding computerized systems. - Record Keeping: Maintains meticulous records of training sessions, including dates, subject matter, and attendance metrics. - Collaborative Reporting: Participates in and reports on system-related updates at assigned corporate and customer meetings. - Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility. - Must have a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or - Must have a Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; or - Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience. - The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy. - Availability for limited to moderate overnight travel. The follow up includes initial assessment of the denials received to determine the appropriate process. Once determined, established policy and procedure will be followed for appeal submission. Reviews assigned accounts that have a payer denial based on the response from the payer and takes appropriate action, including appeals, based on the type of denial. Documents all necessary elements; reason for denial/audit, denial status, and action taken in the electronic medical record per denial management policy. Provides missing or additional information if necessary, to expedite the resolution of the denied claim. This may include writing detailed appeal letters supporting the claim and reimbursement. Performs all appeals and denials recovery procedures needed to appropriately and accurately resolve denied claims. This includes working with internal and external customers. Consistently meets productivity and quality standards established by management, recommending new approaches for enhancing performance and productivity when appropriate. Keeps Supervisor/Manager informed of any problems or issues related to the appeal process and/or current appeals. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications * High School diploma or equivalent education and experience required. College degree preferred. * Must be proficient using MS Office or Google Suite applications. * Strong analytical skills. * Minimum of 1 - 2 years of previous revenue cycle management experience. Role Description The Director, Regulatory and Compliance Strategy serves as a strategic liaison between the company's lines of business and its regulatory and compliance functions. This role is responsible for ensuring business operations are conducted in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws, professional standards, and regulations while fostering strategic alignment and facilitating seamless communication across departments. Qualifications - Possess, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech language-pathology, with a master’s or doctorate degree preferred. - Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in clinical care, of which 8 years involved progressive experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or a related field in the healthcare industry. - Demonstrated experience in a strategic or leadership role with a strong understanding of business operations. - Hold office(s) or leadership role on state and/or national professional, government relations, clinical, policy, or steering committee(s) and/or executive board(s).
