Role Description We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our sales team within the Heating and Refrigeration Compression Technologies sales division. You will be responsible for developing sales with both existing third-party contractor and consultant customers and identifying new opportunities to develop business growth. You can be based at any of our offices throughout the UK or work from home. - Effective customer relationship management to our nationwide customer base. - Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers. - Identify new business opportunities and pursue them. - Communicate effectively with clients to technically evaluate their needs. - Prepare technically and commercially sound proposals and monitor progress. - Conduct technical presentations. - Be responsible for the entry, administration and reporting of all leads and opportunities within our CRM system. - Travel within the UK as required to carry out your role responsibilities. - Manage your own day and book and attend your own appointments. - Work closely with the compression technologies team to identify opportunities and drive the business forward. - Communicate with our European technology centres in Germany and the Netherlands. - Travel when required to our European technology centres in Germany and the Netherlands. Qualifications - A minimum of 5 years field sales experience in selling a technical product. - Experience in refrigeration or HVAC industries is essential. - Experience in selling chillers and heat pumps would be an advantage. - Excellent sales and negotiation skills. - Excellent organisation & communication skills. - Customer focussed partnerships. - Professional demeanour. - Initiative and enthusiasm. - Good business sense. - Good planning and organisational skills. - The ability to work calmly under pressure. - Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills. - The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. - The ability to work in a team. - The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. - Good IT, budget and report writing skills. - Good computer skills, proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 applications. - Experience in the use of a customer relationship management (CRM) software. - A full driving license. Desired locations are within TX, OK, KS, CO, NM, UT, AZ, but all locations will be considered.** Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned: - Assist in training Dealer’s sales force on liners and tubing. - Introduce and support GQ, GQR and Tri Circle Liners as well as traditional liner portfolio, tubing and Composite shells. - Will be involved in Liner Sales Support by means of support, sales, and training support to customers after sales, help Dealers with quotes for new customers. - Responsible for offering Liner dealer support for within Eastern/ Western area and be a liaison between GEA and local dealers. - Will support dealers that carry liners and want the Silicone Liners and composite shells as well as the traditional liner portfolio. - Service existing customers and assist with all phases of the sales process. - Adhere to all GEA, Inc. company policies and conduct yourself in a professional and business-like manner at all times. Your Profile / Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
