Role Description The Director, Security Solutions Engineering will oversee and manage the Security Solutions Engineering Team. The Event Manager is responsible for the logistics that go into planning and hosting events with the goal of enhancing our organization's image, improving client loyalty, and enhancing our brand-to-client experience. A few of the main duties of an Event Manager are creating a theme for the event, tracking the costs of the event, ensuring the right staff are there for the event, and proposing a final budget for the event. This individual will also be tasked with researching and securing venues, planning, and managing our events' calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgets, and delivering on event brief objectives. - Creating event strategies and managing event logistics. - Planning and managing events calendar. - Researching and securing event venues. - Coordinating with key event stakeholders to ensure all event objectives are achieved. - Manage event budgets and related reports. - Brainstorm and implement event plans and concepts. - Plan and monitor all event logistics. - Maintain budgeting and invoicing for all event-related expenses. - Liaise and negotiate with vendors. - Manage all sponsorship activity. - Update senior management on all event plans. - Manage event branding and communication to staff, attendees, and key stakeholders. - Manage event registration and sponsorship landing pages. - Ability to problem-solve and find effective solutions when unexpected hurdles or changes occur. - Developing event feedback surveys and process event feedback following all events. - Handle all post-event reports.
