• Collaborate with all the different disciplines to determine the best methods to realize the shared vision for the game. • Champion and uphold the creation of technical workflows and production pipelines. • Act as a technical expert on the team and ensure the team has the highest quality tools, documents, and best practices. • Obtain in-depth knowledge of the engine, its capabilities, and auxiliary development tools. • Uphold good system architecture across the department, including reuse and optimization. • Be an advocate for the technical design team in interactions with all departments.

• Collaborate with other disciplines (art, design, sound) in implementing the UI. • Write code that fulfills the functional and technical requirements of the project. • Participate in the design of products and perform some testing activities. • Adhere to the project’s coding standards. • Research coding techniques and algorithms in order to keep current on technological developments and advancements in the game industry. • Identify technical and developmental risks/obstacles and generate solutions to overcome identified risks

• Own & drive the completion of project goals, objectives and deliverables for time and quality • Own schedules for multi-discipline game teams being mindful of the wider strategic vision of the game • Monitor the balance of time and resources • Working closely within the production team, leads and development teams to provide information in order to ensure that goals are achieved • Identify and communicate all roadblocks and bottlenecks and make recommendations for adjustment as appropriate • Handle day-to-day production issues to allow the team to achieve the highest possible game quality

• Create, iterate, and track schedules and processes for game features and assets. • Drive the completion of project goals, objectives, and deliverables for time and quality. • Monitor the balance of time and resources. • Working closely with production teams and the leads to provide information to ensure that project goals, objectives, and deliverables are achieved. • Ensure excellent communication of the vision and targets across the team and make sure that appropriate review forums are established. Identify and communicate all roadblocks and bottlenecks and make recommendations for adjustment as appropriate.

• Manage internal and external teams across multiple locations to meet production schedules and deliver the project to quality, time, and budget expectations. • Support the Creative Director in the maintenance of a coherent creative vision throughout the entire development life cycle. • Work closely with Producers to develop product budgets and schedules across the team. • Partner with the VP of Product to ensure core development processes are adhered to with consistency. • Mentor producers at all levels of the team, taking a keen interest in their growth and career development. • Ensure that coherent goals are set for the team from milestone to milestone, and that they are understood and executed upon. • Coordinate and assist with focus testing, outsourcing and other external parties as required.

• Work closely with Design, Animation, and Audio to create new gameplay experiences • Take ownership over large gameplay features • Contribute to the design of gameplay systems • Develop, modify, and debug gameplay software in script and C/C++ • Deploy, optimize and test gameplay software on PC • Collaborate with internal departments (art, design, audio, QA, etc.) • Document software and features for internal and external teams • Participate in the code review process

• Provide administrative support to the HR team • Organize HR department processes • Assist with onboarding new hires, including scheduling activities and conducting orientations • Manage employee inquiries and HRIS administration • Handle payroll processing and reporting • Produce necessary reports like census, PTO, and Ad-Hoc reports • Assist with employee programs and communications • Respond to communications on Slack and email in a professional manner • Maintain confidentiality in sensitive issues • Perform special projects as assigned

• Find opportunities to bring exciting new gameplay hooks to characters within the game. • Develop and oversee the player's combat mechanics, weapons, and abilities. • Work closely with animators, gameplay programmers, and other teams to prototype and implement combat features. • Take character designs through a full development cycle from concept to release. • Use metrics, player feedback, and a multitude of diverse analytics to improve and refine the design.

• Collaborate closely with Design Director, and other Design Leads to drive and execute the vision for combat design for a robust online multiplayer experience. • Design and craft expert-level player combat mechanics, weapons and abilities. • Communicate with Leads and Directors of other disciplines, particularly art and engineering, and ensure that everyone is on the same page before beginning mechanics/feature development. • Advocate for the player, always putting the player experience first when considering and making all design decisions.
