• As an Engineer in Training at Encompass Energy Services you will be involved in Civil Engineering, Land Development, GIS, and Surveying projects. • Research permit requirements for different jurisdictions. • Setting up and designing permits and HDD drawings for senior staff members to review. • Designing of grading for well pads, valve sites, and access roads as part of weekly responsibilities. • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, clients, and public agencies. • Reporting to project leads on the status of tasks.
• Oversee the planning, coordination and execution of LiDAR projects • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and adhere to budgetary constraints • Manage project timelines and collaborate with cross-functional teams • Coordinate logistics, monitor progress of field operations and data collection • Review data quality reports and ensure project meets all client standards • Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional results
• Measure and record precise distances and angles on, above or below the land surface, including boundary points, ALTAs, topographical features and other designated markers • Use a variety of modern surveying equipment, manual recording, computer-aided drafting programs and databases to collect and record data of geological areas according to project requirements • Research historical maps, land records, previous survey results and land title information as needed to compare and verify current measurements and resolve questions of boundary lines • Create reports and maps according to customer or project requirements containing information from field measurements, boundary markers and topographical features • Prepare two-dimensional maps and three-dimensional computer renderings of property features, such as boundary lines, geological points of interest, existing structures, water features and utility lines • Follow accepted legal procedures to establish official land and water boundaries for government agencies, real estate developers and private parties to be used during property sales, leases and disputes • Communicate with architects, engineers and construction personnel as needed during land development projects to verify geological and property boundary data and contribute to building design as needed
• Balance a heavy administrative workload while simultaneously working to fill open positions • Sourcing qualified candidates using online databases, networking and employee referrals • Cold calling and communicating with possible candidates • Conduct preliminary phone screenings to assess candidates' skill sets • Move qualified candidates through the recruitment pipeline while maintaining constant contact • Maintain an accurate candidate database through thorough candidates notes, codes and contact methods • Network to recruit active and passive candidates for current positions and build talent pipelines for future career opportunities • Participate actively in transfer process to keep core staff actively working • Heavy daily phone activity required for generating and following up on resumes and identifying leads • Assist with all new start and on-boarding procedures • Additional projects as assigned
• Will develop, check and review all finished deliverables with the Project Manager and/or Survey & Mapping Manager for Quality Assurance and Quality control • Will develop, check, and review alignment sheets, property plats, detailed construction drawings, exhibit and permit drawings • Will design pipelines and pipeline maps for our clients utilizing survey data, field notes and other key information • Assemble delivery packages as specified by the client or Project Manager
