• Own the full delivery lifecycle from signed SOW to kickoff, execution, and closeout: project charter, success metrics, milestones, and operating cadence. • Lead customer relationship management day-to-day: stakeholder mapping, executive updates, expectation-setting, escalation management, and maintaining trust through ambiguity or change. • Build and run the project management system: integrated project plan, RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), decision log, and change control process. • Manage scope, budget, and delivery performance: forecasting, cost management, burn tracking, change orders, and clear tradeoff decisions. • Run high-quality customer and internal meetings: agendas, facilitation, notes, action items, follow-ups, and ensuring decisions are captured and executed. • Coach and enable the delivery team: clarify roles and responsibilities, remove blockers, improve execution habits, and raise the bar on planning and communication. • Monitor engagement health and delivery quality: track progress, surface early warning signals, and drive corrective actions before timelines or relationships slip.
About the Company DevDocs is a fully remote company that hires developers to build documentation and docs tooling for clients like Qualcomm, American Express, and C3 AI. We don't hire writers, and we don't just crank out docs: our close-knit team is full of technical experts who can deeply understand a client's products, consult on their problems, then design tools and systems to automate their docs processes (and write the most important docs). We’re looking for a Program Manager who enjoys bringing clarity to complex technical work. In this role, you’ll help turn architecture and ideas into coordinated execution, ensuring projects move forward thoughtfully and teams stay aligned. Rather than simply pushing timelines, the Program Manager helps teams understand where work is getting stuck, surfaces risks early, and improves the systems we use to plan and deliver meaningful work. • Document the installation and maintenance of car wash products and systems • Work with clients to create manuals, starting with wall-mounted water-pump panels
• Own project scope and contract alignment, ensuring a clear understanding of deliverables and helping resolve scope or delivery challenges as they arise • Lead project planning and roadmap development, translating architecture and technical requirements into actionable timelines and milestones • Serve as the central coordination point for delivery, managing dependencies, risks, and weekly project reporting • Present project updates, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders • Work closely with the engineering team to understand system architecture, data flows, and development workflows (e.g., Jira, GitHub) • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and decision-makers to ensure alignment and long-term success • Build strong relationships with internal teams, the broader DevDocs ecosystem, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment, trust, and long-term success • Continuously improve the systems we use to track work, communicate progress, and keep projects moving smoothly
