• Lead technical strategy and discovery for Cyclops’s most important commercial opportunities. • Partner with Sales as the senior technical counterpart throughout complex and strategic sales cycles. • Design solution architectures and opportunity landscape assessments that connect client needs to Cyclops’s capabilities. • Shape the path from opportunity to implementation, ensuring proposed solutions are technically sound, commercially viable and grounded in what Cyclops can successfully deliver. • Bring together the right leaders and subject-matter experts across Product, Engineering and other teams to answer hard questions, validate feasibility and find a path forward. • Translate between technical and commercial teams, making complex requirements understandable, actionable and aligned across both internal and client stakeholders. • Own the technical transition from commercial opportunity to implementation, ensuring Client Success has the context, requirements, decisions and risks needed to move quickly after close.

• Own the client journey from onboarding through implementation, go-live and the ongoing account lifecycle, serving as a senior relationship owner and creating continuity throughout the client experience. • Partner with Sales and the Solutions Architect during the commercial process to understand each client’s business, use case, proposed solution and path to launch, and ensure the transition from opportunity to implementation is seamless. • Drive onboarding and implementation from start to finish, building clear plans with milestones, owners, dependencies and timelines and coordinating across clients, Product, Engineering, Compliance and Operations to get clients live. • Build the Client Success function from the ground up in close partnership with the co-founders, living the process firsthand, identifying what works and what does not, and turning those lessons into scalable playbooks, operating rhythms, tools and standards. • Solve complex problems that do not come with an existing playbook, identifying risks and blockers early, bringing together the right people and driving issues toward resolution. • Lead the ongoing client relationship after launch by understanding each client’s goals, monitoring health and engagement, and proactively identifying risks, opportunities and ways Cyclops can create more value. • Coordinate client questions, requests and support inquiries across internal teams, ensuring issues have clear owners, clients stay informed and nothing falls through the cracks. • Grow client relationships by identifying opportunities across products, use cases, markets and transaction volume, partnering with Sales when commercial engagement or negotiation is required. • Shape the future Client Success organization alongside the co-founders and executive team, defining how the function should evolve and when to introduce additional specialization, tooling or team members as the client base grows.

• Own all inbound technical requests from clients, API vendors, and internal teams: resolve directly what does not require engineering judgment (API clarifications, integration questions, known behavior, documentation gaps), and prepare full written context for everything that requires escalation • Act as the first point of contact for technical questions in dedicated client and vendor Slack channels; own communication back to the client on escalated bugs until resolution • Own status page updates and client-facing communication during incidents and maintenance windows • Stay aware of system health through dashboards, logs, and alerting; confirm whether something needs escalation, and trigger incident escalation when service availability or data integrity is at risk • Act as operational support during active incidents, performing manual workarounds when instructed by engineering, and propose improvements to monitoring where it is lacking • Own and maintain API docs, integration guides, FAQ, and runbooks in Confluence; write documentation clear and structured enough to be consumed accurately by both humans and AI tools, and treat every repeated question as a documentation gap to close • Create and maintain Jira tickets for all requests that require tracking or escalation; keep tickets updated so QA and engineering never need to chase support-side context

• Design and build stateful mocks and simulators of third-party vendor APIs • Implement contract tests that run on schedule against real vendor sandboxes • Build test data and environment tooling • Own the CI test pipeline • Eliminate flaky tests • Create test-writing scaffolding and well-documented test patterns • Coach engineers on writing effective tests • Build production-adjacent checks

• Design and evolve core platform services, focusing on reliability, data integrity, and clear service boundaries aligned with business requirements • Identify architectural risks, scalability limits, and weak points before they become production issues; recognize when existing tools (queues, storage, frameworks) reach their limits and propose pragmatic, incremental improvement or migration paths • Own the technical relationship with partners as the primary technical point of contact: lead solution reviews, troubleshooting, and roadmap alignment; document technical decisions and integration details; ensure partners understand expectations, timelines, and constraints • Design and improve reliability mechanisms: retries and backoff, timeouts and idempotency, handling of partial failures, degraded and fallback modes • Drive improvements in observability (metrics, logs, tracing, operational visibility) and participate in production incident analysis • Contribute during the Discovery stage of projects: build PoCs, validate ideas, analyze third-party vendor APIs and proposed integration flows • Implement the most complex and high-risk backend components using TypeScript and Node.js, owning correctness under partial failure scenarios • Raise the overall technical maturity of the team, including senior engineers: thoughtful code reviews, decomposition of large or ambiguous problems, knowledge sharing through pairing and documentation

• Design and implement backend-heavy features using TypeScript and Node.js; build and evolve REST APIs with focus on correctness, consistency, and clear boundaries between services • Work with SQL (PostgreSQL): data modeling, migrations, and consistency guarantees • Take full ownership of one or more services, from requirements and implementation to production support, and drive integration work with external partners (vendors, clients) when needed • Own production behavior: investigate incidents, debug API failures, analyze data issues, and apply reliability patterns (timeouts, retries, idempotency, graceful degradation) • Improve observability (logs, metrics, visibility into system behavior) and propose improvements where reliability, performance, or monitoring is weak • Participate in tech spikes: explore unclear problems and turn them into concrete technical plans • Collaborate with Product and EM to clarify requirements and reduce ambiguity early; contribute to technical discussions, raise risks, and explain trade-offs • Review code, mentor mid-level engineers, and contribute to React code when features require UI updates or customer-facing flows

• Own the test strategy and execution for the squad: acceptance, exploratory, and regression testing • Write and maintain automated UI and API tests on the shared test framework • Own and prioritize the automation backlog; move routine regression into CI so releases are not blocked on manual passes • Review product requirements and acceptance criteria with product and engineering, providing feedback before development starts • Verify client-facing releases and run acceptance testing before they reach clients • Communicate with stakeholders and third-party vendors about ongoing product issues • Maintain QA documentation and reports, including release testing and escaped defects reports

• Define and lead the overall partnership program vision, strategy, and execution • Oversee and execute the complete partnership cycle from prospecting to closing to ongoing relationship management • Build a high-performing partnerships team by hiring, mentoring, and managing performance • Represent the company at industry events, in speaking engagements, and with key external stakeholders • Track and report on metrics, pipelines, and performance to the founders
