Role Description The Master Solution Architect serves as a lead to provide expertise and guidance on the overall SAP Technology Infrastructure as it relates to IT and business strategies. They evaluate, develop and maintain SAP infrastructure roadmap to reduce overall complexity and increase cost efficiency. They maintain expertise in the area of SAP architecture including industry trends, strategies, and products to ensure corporate assets are optimized. Qualifications - Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree. - Must have secret clearance. - Nine (9) or more years experience in SAP or other ERP equivalent COTS. - Knowledgeable in: - SAP Basis, Security, SAP Integration technologies, Development Workbench, and Change/Memory/Workload Management within SAP CCMS. - HP-UX UNIX, Oracle RDBMS and Windows 2000 and 2003 platforms. - Web Infrastructure and NetWeaver Architecture. - Adept with SAP Data Dictionary, SAP Solution Manager, Transport management and Oracle physical design for SAP. - SAP Sizing, Workload characterization and Capacity Planning experience. - Domain and expert technical knowledge. - Technical/management leadership skills. Requirements - Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP. - Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills. - Previous knowledge or work experience with CRS/CS/IPAC/CIR Navy Systems. - Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures. - Federal experience. - Possesses Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more SAP functional area/module. Tasks - Apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. - Plan and lead major technology assignments. - Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. - Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. - Supervise and lead staff of various levels.
Role Description The Senior Software Developer, Application in this role is responsible for full-stack application development, solution design, and support for initiatives related to system modernization and sustainment that underpin the USCG's aviation logistics and enterprise systems. Qualifications - Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Math, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Five (5) years of directly relevant experience may substitute for two (2) years of formal education. - CompTIA Security+ required. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise software development, including requirements gathering, architecture, coding, testing, and support. - Minimum of two (2) years of program/project-level software design experience. - Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Agile software development environment and methodologies. - Minimum of two (2) years of experience with Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. - Advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and application architecture patterns. - Experience supporting full software lifecycle activities in federal or DoD environments. - Strong understanding of DevSecOps concepts, secure coding standards, and Agile development methodologies. - Proficiency in relational database design, PL/SQL, and procedural languages. - Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and version control systems. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in support of mission-critical operations. - Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Requirements - Demonstrated experience working in support of federal government enterprise applications preferred. - Additional certifications (Network+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, ITIL Foundation, TOGAF or other similar certifications) are a plus. Tasks - Design, develop, modify, test, deploy, and maintain custom and enterprise software applications that support logistics, finance, engineering, and maintenance functions. - Translate user requirements and functional specifications into technical solutions through collaboration with Business Analysts, Architects, and DevOps teams. - Develop scalable, efficient, and secure applications using technologies such as .NET, Java, JavaScript, OpenROAD, SQL, Oracle, HTML/CSS, SAS, and PHP. - Build APIs and service integrations using modern protocols (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML). - Conduct code reviews, debug issues, and execute regression, unit, and integration testing. - Support development of reports, cubes, and dashboards using SAS Viya, Cognos, and Framework Manager for improved asset visibility and analytics. - Participate in Agile development processes using Jira for task tracking and Confluence for documentation. - Develop and maintain technical documentation including system design specs, SOPs, deployment guides, and user manuals. - Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and ensure systems meet Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements and cybersecurity regulations. - Support configuration and version control using Bitbucket and other source code repositories. - Analyze legacy systems and contribute to modernization roadmaps using industry best practices and emerging technologies. - Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, information assurance, and helpdesk teams to troubleshoot application issues and deliver continuous improvements. - Serve as a senior technical or task lead, providing mentorship and ensuring development practices are standardized and aligned with government requirements. - All other duties as assigned by management.
