• Interface and consult with customers, project managers and salespeople to analyze customer requirements • Identify solutions to address client needs • Analyze project scope and suggest creative approaches to solutions • Increase efficiencies and improve overall quality and ease of execution, while seeking to reduce scope and production costs • Evaluate and prepare project deliverables (docs, websites, software, help and others) for translation following set quality standards. This process typically includes the use of CAT tools as well as writing instructions for project managers and translators • Manage translation memories • Administer Plunet and MemoQ • Set up and administer projects on a Translation Proxy and Website Translation Platform • Desktop support and other basic IT needs as needed
Project Manager – Evenings & Weekends

• Review client’s requests and assess needs for additional information, e.g. compilation of glossaries, previously translated similar documents, list of acronyms, technical terminology, and translation memories • Develop efficient workflows and oversee the use and maintenance of tools such as translation memories, style guides, and glossaries • File preparation and analysis using translation memory software, develop cost estimates, and project schedules • Negotiate budgets and schedules with vendors and supervise the progress of translation projects • Manage multiple projects/clients simultaneously • Maintain accurate and up-to-date management reports and translation database • Develop and maintain strong client relationships • Exercise sound judgment in keeping supervisor informed of potential difficulties.

Role Description We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to lead and grow relationships within our Fortune 50 health plan and managed care portfolio. You’ll act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders across payor organizations — helping them connect translation, localization, and cultural adaptation to performance goals such as: - Star Ratings - Quality improvement (QI) - Health literacy - Regulatory compliance You’ll partner cross-functionally to design solutions that address evolving CMS and state requirements, improve member experience, and deliver measurable ROI for our clients. Your impact will include: - Owning and growing a portfolio of Fortune 50 national and regional health plan accounts, with responsibility for retention, expansion, and revenue growth. - Developing and executing strategic account plans that align CQ fluency’s solutions to client initiatives such as CAHPS improvement, digital accessibility, and Medicaid redetermination. - Building deep, multi-level relationships within each account — from operational managers to executives in Quality, Compliance, Health Literacy, and Member Experience. - Translating complex client needs into scalable solutions that drive compliance, cultural relevance, and cost efficiency. - Partnering with internal teams (Customer Success, Production, Technology, Compliance and Marketing) to deliver best-in-class execution. - Leading strategic business reviews, renewal discussions, and performance reporting tied to measurable client outcomes. - Maintaining an active pipeline and disciplined account tracking using CRM. Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in business development and account management within healthcare services industries, specifically, managed care. - Proven success managing large, complex accounts and influencing multi-stakeholder decision-making in regulated environments. - Working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial plan operations, including quality programs, compliance frameworks, and member engagement strategies. - Ability to connect CQ fluency’s value to key payor metrics (CAHPS, Stars, NCQA, HEDIS, MLR, HCQI, etc.). - Experience leading QBRs, strategic RFPs, and renewals in a consultative, data-driven manner. - Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MPH, MHA, or related). - Experience with CRM tools and account planning frameworks (i.e., Miller Heiman LAMP or similar).
