Role Description As a Customer Operations Associate, you play a critical role in ensuring Coverdash clients have a seamless insurance experience behind the scenes. This role exists to keep our client, policy, and billing data accurate, up to date, and compliant, allowing our Service and Sales teams to focus on advising and supporting small businesses. You'll partner closely with U.S.-based teams, insurance carriers, and internal systems to process policy activity, resolve billing issues, and support day-to-day insurance operations. What You'll Do - Maintain accurate client, policy, and billing records within Coverdash's Admin (AMS) system - Manage and resolve client-related requests through Coverdash's ticketing system - Process and issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) efficiently and accurately - Support policy lifecycle activities including applications, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations - Coordinate with insurance carriers to retrieve documents, process changes, and complete endorsement quoting - Ensure daily carrier downloads are completed and all records are kept current - Support billing operations by handling notices, payment follow-ups, and resolving carrier payment issues - Collaborate closely with U.S.-based Service and Sales team members to support client needs - Use Coverdash's platform to support client policy access, payments, and modifications Qualifications - 1–3 years of experience in operations, customer support, or administrative roles - Strong attention to detail with a high level of data accuracy - Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) - Comfortable working across multiple systems, tools, and online platforms - Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities - Proactive, reliable, and accountable for your work - Comfortable working independently and collaborating with international colleagues across time zones Nice to Have - Experience with U.S. commercial insurance products or carrier portals - Familiarity with AMS, ticketing systems, or billing platforms (e.g., Ascend) - Previous experience supporting U.S.-based teams or clients Work Environment - Location: Remote (Serbia-based) - Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Belgrade time) - Engagement Type: Full-time, ongoing - you'll manage your own schedule and invoicing as part of this remote engagement Why Coverdash? - Be part of a fast-growing insurtech company transforming commercial insurance - Gain hands-on exposure to U.S. insurance operations and modern insurance technology - Work with a collaborative, global team that values ownership, transparency, and growth - Build a strong foundation for long-term career growth within operations or insurance roles Compensation Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of our total compensation package that also includes benefits and other perks. • Manage and retain a portfolio of commercial P&C accounts up to $10MM in annual premium • Serve as primary point of contact for client servicing, renewals, and coverage questions • Own the renewal process end to end, including proactive renewal conversation prior to quote delivery • Clearly explain coverage, pricing, and policy changes • Manage client expectations and protect the client experience during underwriting delays, market constraints, or carrier issues • Resolve client concerns and escalate internally when needed to ensure timely resolution • Execute core policy servicing, including endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, billing coordination, and cancellations • Maintain accurate client records in AMS and CRM • Partner with carriers, wholesalers, and internal teams to support renewal and servicing outcomes • Adhere to service standards, SLAs, and escalation protocols
• Own end to end new business sales for commercial P&C insurance, from inbound lead to bind • Manage 25-50 warm inbound opportunities daily while meeting activity and revenue targets • Advise SMB clients on coverage options and basic risk management practices • Quote, market, and place admitted commercial insurance products • Partner with carriers to identify and secure appropriate coverage solutions • Use Coverdash’s quoting platform and AMS to generate and bind policies • Expand expertise in carrier guidelines, underwriting fundamentals, and product offering to increase close rates
• Sell Property & Casualty (P&C) commercial insurance to small and mid-sized businesses • Quote, rate, and place new business by working with carriers and wholesale partners • Manage leads and daily outreach through our CRM to drive pipeline and close opportunities • Advise clients on risk exposures and recommend tailored coverage solutions • Collaborate with internal brokers and underwriters to secure optimal placements • Drive new policy sales and hand off bound accounts to account management for a seamless client experience
