Title: Claim Technical Specialist- Equine Location: FL Remote Full time job requisition id JR101422 Job Description: As the Claims Technical Specialist, you will handle Claims for Equine related policies. The ideal candidate will be located in either Lexington, KY or Ocala. FL. Key Accountabilities/Deliverables: - Ensure compliance with established claim handling guidelines regarding coverage, investigation, evaluation, and resolution of claims. - Gather and analyze information necessary to make an accurate evaluation of the claim by delivering effective resolution of claims, make decisions within established authority levels and identify potential issues. - Maintain accurate system data and documentation by collecting, recording, analyzing, and summarizing information. - Work with external customers as well as agents to address questions, resolve problems and maintain rapport while providing an exceptional level of customer service. - Create innovative and effective approaches and solutions that have a positive impact on business results and delivers superior claim services. - Direct and monitor assignments to experts and outside counsel. - Participate in special projects or assist other team members as needed. - In addition to the above key responsibilities, may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the Company may reasonably require. Full time Job Description: The Vulnerability Management Specialist is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for executing Core Specialty’s vulnerability management program across endpoints, servers, cloud resources, and applications. This role focuses on continuous vulnerability scanning, risk analysis, remediation coordination, and reporting, working closely with IT, Infrastructure, Endpoint, and Threat teams. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a metrics-driven, SLA-based environment, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable remediation guidance. The selected candidate will be required to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office/2 remote) out of our Dallas, TX, or Cincinnati, OH office. No relocation assistance is being offered with this role. Key Accountabilities/Deliverables: - Conduct continuous vulnerability scanning across enterprise assets using Qualys and related tools. - Analyze scan results to validate findings, remove false positives, and assess exploitability. - Prioritize vulnerabilities using CVSS, Qualys Detection Score (QDS), asset criticality, and business impact. - Enforce remediation SLAs aligned to severity levels: Critical: 7 days, High: 30 days, Medium: 60 days, Low: 180 days. - Partner with Infrastructure, EUC, Cloud, and Application teams to drive timely remediation. - Support remediation activities using Qualys, Intune, JAMF, PolicyPak, and Microsoft Defender. - Ensure vulnerability management activities aligned with NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and insurance regulatory expectations. - Partner with Threat Intelligence and SOC teams to assess vulnerability exposure related to active threats. - Develop scripts (PowerShell) and workflows to support remediation, reporting, and validation. Technical Knowledge and Understanding: - Strong understanding of: CVSS scoring and risk prioritization, patch management and remediation workflows, endpoint, server, and cloud security fundamentals. - Ability to analyze technical findings and communicate risk clearly to non-security teams. - Strong documentation and organizational skills. Experience required: - 4+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security engineering, or threat operations. - Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning platforms (Qualys preferred; Tenable/Rapid7 acceptable). - Experience working with Intune, JAMF, or similar endpoint management tools. Multi-state commercial auto insurance carrier is seeking a Regional Manager to work within the Loss Control department. The Regional Manager is responsible for conducting Loss Control Surveys for all client accounts within their assigned territory that will include eastern states. This position requires 75-80 % travel primarily within NYC. This position will require frequent travel throughout Brooklyn. C andidates need to be local to the NYC area or planning to relocate there (no relocation assistance is available). The majority of travel is scheduled in advance, however there may be occasional travel required on demand or short notice. Key Accountabilities/Deliverables: Conducts an extensive survey evaluation/audit of all commercial auto product line accounts including passenger transportation, trucking (common carrier, contract carrier, and/or private carrier accounts whose transportation may be incidental to their primary type of business), and car rental operations. (May also cover specialized products such as blasting or other designated specialties). Responds to assigned visit requests within region. Identifies and communicates with corresponding underwriter regarding potential accounts requiring visits. Writes comprehensive reports, within an established time frame, detailing findings from visits/surveys to make recommendations to improve the policyholder’s operation. Conducts follow-up assessments of accounts based on a plan established after the visit report is complete and approved. Manages complex scheduling with policyholders, underwriters and home office staff to meet the time demands of the visit assignments and reporting requirements.
