• Drive financial performance of assigned region. • Create, manage, and meet/exceed annual new business production plan through consistent visibility and developing significant relationships. • Create, manage, and meet/exceed a direct written premium plan. • Responsible to achieve/exceed profitability in coordination with Underwriting partners. • Develop and implement an annual regional sales plan in partnership with Underwriting. • Work to position Convelo as a lead partner for our core program offerings. • Develop annual agency/broker business plans with select partners and hold accountable through various metrics. • Differentiate distribution support based on agency assessments. • Takes ownership and sets an example for the organization. • Learn & provide exceptional knowledge of Convelo’s product and appetite while also demonstrating outstanding knowledge of competitors’ products. • Schedule and run agency visits with distribution partners to drive production & profitability results. • Collaborate with Underwriting on account pipeline development, book roll opportunities and key relationships. • Conduct regular territory reviews with Underwriting. • Assist in development & understanding of competitors products & pricing strategies in marketplace. • Develops & adheres to annual regional budget. • Develop a team of Regional Sales Managers and/or Marketing Representatives to work within the territory. • Mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Establish new submission in the clearance system and handle according to established procedures • Assist Underwriters with quote, binder, and policy issuance workflow • Gathers and organizes information and reports (e.g., loss runs, risk assessments, and loss ratings) that support the underwriting decision • Assist the Underwriter with the computation of rates and premiums. • Review incoming insurance applications for accuracy and completeness • Participate in the creation and development of the team's underwriting workflows and processes, including underwriting files for all bound accounts • Work with and follow up with producers for any outstanding information • Process and distribute insurance binders, endorsements and polices within processing standards established by management • Prepare all policies in accordance with final binders inclusive of review by underwriting staff • Manage all account documentation

• Provide day to day servicing to Producers as needed including marketing expertise and general support/assistance. • Maintain awareness of the insurance marketplace and insurance company underwriting guidelines, appetites, and programs. • Work in collaboration with the Retail Placement Director and staff. • Assist with maintaining and formatting exposure schedules, preparing & reviewing applications, obtaining loss runs and creating loss summaries. • Research/investigate issues as needed (for instance, Experience Modification Factor changes) • Set up new prospects and opportunities in proprietary system. • Prepare audit, benchmarking, and proposal information for new business opportunities. • Continuous, clear, and professional verbal and written communication is necessary with clients, carriers, and internal team members.
