Role Description The Regional Account Executive II is a senior territory hunter responsible for driving net-new revenue growth across mid- to top-tier retail accounts within a defined EMEA region. This role owns the full-cycle sales process across all Datascan service lines and is accountable for quota attainment through disciplined prospecting, consultative engagement, and strategic opportunity creation. This position maintains no ongoing account management responsibility. Upon contract execution, clients transition to Customer Success. The Regional Account Executive II remains exclusively focused on new-logo acquisition, territory penetration, and sustained market expansion. Position Summary The Principal Platform Software Engineer is the technical lead responsible for designing and developing core components of Datascan’s software platform across multiple environments including backend services, desktop, mobile, and embedded client applications. This role requires strong expertise in advanced software engineering, including system architecture, algorithm design, high-performance data processing, and cross-platform development. The engineer will contribute to the evolution of Datascan’s core platform by implementing complex functionality such as data processing engines, parsers, synchronization systems, and scalable service components. As a technical leader, this role provides architectural guidance, mentors developers, and collaborates with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions that power Datascan’s products across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and cloud environments. This early-career role supports Datascan’s demand engine by driving new business conversations, maintaining high data integrity within D365, and selectively closing small SMB opportunities. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Demand Operations and plays a critical role in fueling predictable revenue growth.
