This is a Contract/Temporary position that offers a fully remote work setup. The role requires an individual who is adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of meeting the challenging demands of offshore dietary requirements. - Prepare meals in accordance with company recipes and standards ensuring nutritious and well-balanced offerings. - Ensure the kitchen and all food storage facilities are maintained at impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization. - Manage inventory and request supplies as necessary to maintain stock levels required for smooth kitchen operations. - Adhere to all safety and health regulations pertaining to the kitchen and food preparation areas. - Collaborate with other crew members to ensure food service aligns with the overall welfare and morale of the team on board. - Modify and adapt menus based on availability of ingredients and dietary needs of the crew. - Regularly inspect equipment and ensure that all cooking appliances are in perfect order and report any discrepancies to the maintenance team. - Implement waste management protocols, focusing on reduction strategies aligned with environmental standards. - Monitor meal consumption and feedback, adjusting menus as required to satisfy crew preferences and nutritional requirements. - Ensure timely meal preparation schedules, adhering strictly to meal service times. - Document all compliance activities including food temperatures during storage, preparation, and post-preparation phases. - Provide mentorship and, if necessary, training to junior kitchen staff to uphold standards of kitchen operation. Qualifications - Must possess a valid Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with Med Cert (Medical Certificate). - Current certification in Vessel Personnel with Designated Security Duties (VPDSD). - Completed Basic Safety Training in compliance with maritime regulations. - Holder of a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). - Trained in either THUET, FOET, or BOSIET - Water Survival Courses, ensuring readiness for emergency offshore situations. - Possess either a RigPass or SafeGulf certification demonstrating understanding of the offshore operating environment. - Experienced with rigging practices and protocols for safe and efficient operational setup. - Current certification in ServSafe or equivalent food handling and safety program. - Proven ability to produce a high volume of meals under potentially stressful conditions. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for a multi-cultural work environment. - Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the job site's operational demands. - Prior experience in offshore or remote sites culinary operations is highly desirable. Requirements - Day rate is equivalent to $315 day.

Engineer-Unlimited rating with OICEW endorsement on License along with your Basic Safety Training and VPDSD. - Current USCG Medical Certificate with valid National and STCW dates. - Water Survival must be the T-HUET (Tropical Huet for client) or BOSIET. - USCG Physical & Drug screen current or will be taken upon qualification. - Flag State License and Seaman's Book current or ability to apply for documents.
