Title: Senior Academic Coach - Part Time Location: Essex United States Job type: Onsite Time Type: part Time Job id: Essex Job Number 2026-868 Job Description: The purpose of this class is to provide advance level support in providing academic support, guidance, and feedback to students. - Master's degree in education and minimum four years of experience teaching or tutoring and use of student information systems. - Experience working with adult learners in providing instruction, advising, academic support services, academic skills assessment and/or study skills instruction. 3. Demonstrated leadership ability, as evidenced by assignments of increased responsibility including but not limited to, participation in planning and orchestration of initiatives related to student retention and completion, as well as training and outreach activities involving other professional advisors, faculty and staff.1. Provide individualized guidance, coaching and feedback to students through frequent meetings. Students may include those experiencing academic difficulty requiring assistance in developing personal and academic skills required for independent learning. - For students placing below developmental reading and writing thresholds, discuss results with students and make referrals to college and community resources. - Orient students to college resources including Counseling, Registrar, Library, Career Center, Advising and other key resources. 4.Interface with students, faculty and support services to monitor student course progress. May prepare student progress interval reports. Reinforce plan of study prescribed by Coordinator of Developmental Education when provided - Maintain appropriate records and logs documenting meeting dates, reasons and progress. - May conduct small group workshops or training focused on study skills and academic support - May research and update academic support materials and resources

Title: Coordinator, Intake Assessment (ESOL) - Part Time Location: Dundalk, MD United States Salary $28.61 Hourly Job Type Part-Time Staff Job Number 2026-864 Division Instruction Department Dean of Lifelong Learning Job Description: Perform professional level administrative duties of ESOL intake and assessment process, assisting with the daily operations of the Continuing Education's Center for Adult and Family Literacy. This is a part-time, grant position funded through the Consolidated Adult Education and Family Literacy Grant provided by Maryland's. Department of Labor. Bachelor's degree and two years' experience in adult education ESOL required. Master's degree in TESOL and prior experience with administration of standardized assessments and/or computer based testing programs with CASAS or TABE preferred. - Implement ESOL program's managed enrollment process including scheduling and management of orientation, intake, and assessments for ESOL students throughout Baltimore County. - Collect and input data regarding assessment and placement of ESOL students as required by funder. - Ensure security of all testing materials. - Administer the implementation of assessments to ESOL students. - Communicate with ESOL learners and instructors/tutors regarding placement, progress and attendance issues. - Work with ESOL program staff to address the special needs of enrolled learners, including individuals with disabilities. - Assist in the referral process of ESOL learners to support services and/or outside agencies. - Distribute assessment materials and attendance documentation to adjunct faculty in the field.

Title: Administrative Support Assistant II, Human Resources - Part Time Location: Catonsville United States Job Description: The purpose of this class is to provide professional level administrative support services to assigned department or program. High school diploma/GED and five years related office experience or Associate's Degree and three years related office experience; knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications; must complete and pass Microsoft testing modules which includes Word and Excel and demonstrate the ability to type 35 wpm. (Candidates with proof of current Microsoft Office Expert Specialist Certification do not need to test.) This is an ON-SITE Part Time position (19.5 hours per week) Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm - Assist and provide information to students, faculty, administrators and the college community. - Assist in planning meetings, special events, and with special projects. - Serve as liaison between department or program and other offices or organizations. - Research, analyze and process data into college systems. - Maintain records and files. - Type letters, reports, documents and other correspondence; use copier and fax equipment. - Answer, screen and direct telephone calls. - Compile reports, documents, forms and correspondence. - Create and track check requests, requisitions, work orders and other request forms. - Process incoming and outgoing mail. - Assist in the planning and implementation of special projects, meetings, and events. - Manage calendar for Supervisor.
