Role Description The Credit Underwriter is a developing professional role which integrates in-depth specialty knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Qualifications - 2-5 years related experience. - Conventional underwriting experience; FHA/VA designation preferred. - Thorough knowledge of CMI underwriting policy, as well as agency and secondary market underwriting and document requirements. - Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels. - Thorough knowledge of credit scoring, analytical problem-solving, and negotiation skills. - Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
