Role Description Plan, analyze, design, test, implement and maintain hospital and/or outpatient business IT applications. Researches and corrects system and user problems. Works with various primary care clinics, specialty departments, ancillary departments, inpatient units and billing/finance to support practice and implement changes as needed. Essential Functions - Analyze, design, configure, test and maintain Children’s Hospital & Medical Center’s business applications through collaboration with members of care teams, operational leaders, technical team members and other relevant stakeholders. - Research, analyze, troubleshoot and correct system components in a timely manner. Role Description We’re searching for a Pharmacy Info System Coord-EPIC, develop, configures, test and maintains Pharmacy Information Systems and database application, including Sunrise Medication Management, Pyxis, BAXA, Lexicomp and other pharmacy specific data bases. Works with clinical application users throughout the organization to ensure system production is optimal, with respect to system configuration, maintenance and functionality. Works with Pharmacy Systems Manager and Pharmacy Administrative Team to analyze and design workflows and processes ensuring optimal design and implementation of automation and information systems within the pharmacy and organization related to medication use. Responsible for integrity and accuracy of technology used in the medication management. Candidates with compounding outpatient pharmacy experience are highly desired, as this role will be responsible for EPIC system builds for oral suspension medications. Experience with EPIC, either as an EHR super user or through EHR training, is also desired. This position primarily works remotely, with occasional on-site responsibilities to attend collaborative meetings.
