Key Responsibilities Leadership & Global Marketing Strategy - Set the vision and provide leadership for global Biologics Testing marketing team, fostering engagement, accountability, and execution excellence. - Own and drive the global marketing strategy, including market insights, segmentation, positioning, messaging, and the marketing mix across the portfolio. - Collaborate with Commercial leaders on global and go-to-market strategies to accelerate pipeline velocity and revenue growth. - Translate market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive intelligence into actionable marketing strategies across developed and emerging markets. - Identify whitespace opportunities, adjacencies, and partnership opportunities to inform growth strategies and commercial prioritization. - Identify emerging customer needs and market opportunities to influence portfolio evolution and differentiation. - Build strong value propositions, messaging platforms, and competitive positioning for biologics testing solutions. Marketing Planning & Execution - Develop integrated global marketing plans across campaign strategy, segmentation, content, digital marketing, events, and product launches. - Lead execution of tactical plans through collaboration with regional marketing, sales, product management, and SME's. - Drive development of high-quality content including thought leadership, digital assets, presentations, and customer-facing materials. Business Analytics & Performance Optimization - Monitor and report on marketing performance, campaign impact, and ROI; leverage insights to refine strategy and tactics. - Partner with Market Research to identify lead-generation opportunities in new and niche markets (e.g., compounding pharmacy, consumer care, dialysis). - Work with business analytics to research market dynamics, identify drivers of growth, and incorporate insights into marketing plans. - Conduct market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis to inform marketing decisions and investments. - Evaluate campaign performance and continuously optimize for efficiency and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities continued Commercial Execution & Growth Enablement - Drive demand generation, sales enablement, and funnel acceleration through customer segmentation, value propositions, channel strategy, and commercial tools. - Lead brand growth through integrated digital engagement, omnichannel campaigns, customer programs, and global congress presence. - Own KOL engagement strategy across scientific, clinical, and commercial ecosystems in collaboration with Scientific Affairs and regional teams. - Integrate data, analytics, and digital solutions into marketing programs to support scalable growth and new business models. - Track performance through KPIs, analytics, and ROI-based optimization of global and regional marketing initiatives in partnership with Marketing Communications and Commercial Operations leads. - Deep understanding customer needs, workflows, and pain points across biologics development and testing. - Shape the customer journey to deliver a clear, differentiated and value-driven experience. - Translate complex technical concepts into compelling, accessible messages for diverse customer segments. Cross-Functional Leadership - Lead and develop cross-functional and matrixed teams aligned to Biologics Testing business priorities. - Own global marketing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking. - Operate with the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and alignment to Charles River DNA values. - Partner closely with Scientific Portfolio Specialists, Business Development, Operations, and Commercial teams to align marketing strategy with business goals. - Influence cross-functional teams globally within a matrixed environment to ensure consistent execution. - Provide leadership to virtual project teams and support development of marketing best practices. Job Qualifications Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or related discipline. - 10+ years of experience in the biomedical/biopharmaceutical industry and/or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field. - 7+ years of related experience in marketing management and/or product management within the biologics testing industry. - An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in place of the specific requirements listed above. - Experience with digital & marketing automation platforms, SEO strategy, CRM systems (SFDC), and analytics tools. - Experience with the buyer's journey in a technical or scientific B2B environment. - Approximately up to 30% travel to both domestic and international locations with extended work hours. Establish control expectations for outsourced operations, including segregation of duties, access and security, data transfer, and integrity. - Develop governance processes to monitor vendor performance and control effectiveness. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with Product Management to research and develop Lead gen projects/campaigns for target products and client segments. - Collaborate and assist with event specialists on virtual and in-person event logistics and management (webinars, seminars, workshops, chapter events, conferences, etc.). - Collaborate across marketing, sales, and subject matter experts to engage and help develop persona-based and account-based marketing campaigns in the various customer segments to nurture new and existing clients. Such projects could include mail merge campaigns, creation of personalized marketing materials and the organization and running of bespoke client webinars. - Maintain a working knowledge of all RMS product lines with more in-depth knowledge of the business segment that is being supported to be an educator to others. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute. - Previous experience within a life science environment (e.g., biotech, pharmaceutical, preclinical drug development, CRO, or lab) strongly preferred. Technical Skills - Knowledge in drug discovery and/or research animal model industry - Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, best practices, and tactics, including SEO/GEO, paid media, video, and social media. - Experience in market research and voice of customer methods. - Strong understanding of customer journeys and how to plan for and analyze success metrics across the marketing channels and stages of that journey. - Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools. - Strong Excel skills - Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite, CRM) - Ability to quickly learn new software and applications - Strong Salesforce experience - Canva experience a plus Language Skills Must have a good command of the English language and be able to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal format. Compensation Data The pay range for this position in the USA is $75K - $95K USD. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, location and any collective agreements, if applicable. Remote candidates located outside the USA should be aware that the relevant pay range varies based on country and location.
