Role Description This is a 4-month temporary position with a start date of 8/31/2026 and a finish date of 12/25/2026. This is a fully remote position working Monday through Friday. As a CBRE Finance Manager, you will lead a team responsible for finance strategy and operations activities, including: - Annual budget preparation - Monthly forecasting - Strategic planning - Management reporting This role is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations function and is responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls while providing financial insights, supporting business objectives, and driving operational excellence through effective planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. - Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. - Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems. - Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. - Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. - Intermediate math skills, including the ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. Requirements - Provide formal supervision to employees. - Monitor the training and development of staff. - Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. - Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. - Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. - Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. - Set and track staff and department deadlines. - Mentor and coach as needed. - Oversee the budgeting process, forecasting process, strategic planning process, and standard management reporting. - Review balance sheet account analysis, statement of cash flows and supporting schedules, and standard consolidated reporting packs for accuracy. - Review and approve basic monthly journal entries. - Produce a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages, and pro forma analyses for senior management and planning unit. - Coordinate research, development, and preparation of accounting policy and procedures. - Exchange and explain difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle sensitive issues. - Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. - Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes. Role Description CBRE is seeking an employment law attorney with broad employment and labor experience to join its Legal team as Senior Counsel. The position is a remote role and will report to the Global Head of Labor and Employment. - Advise people business partners, managers and executives on a full range of employment and labor law issues including recruitment, leave and accommodation, performance management, separations, compliance, employment contracts and compensation. - Draft and review employment related documents including offer letters, employment agreements, compensation agreements, non-competition agreements, and severance agreements. - Draft and review employment related policies and procedures. - Support internal compliance investigations related to employment practices, policy violations and employee relations issues. - Manage prelitigation disputes including settlement demands, EEOC charges, administrative claims and labor grievances. - Monitor new legislation and regulatory changes impacting employment and labor laws. - Conduct training for people business partners and managers on various employment related issues. - Identify and assess legal risks and opportunities within the labor and employment areas and advise accordingly. - Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned. Qualifications - J.D. from ABA accredited U.S. law school. - Member of applicable State Bar in good standing. - Minimum of 8 years of relevant private practice and/or in-house experience. - Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence. - Ability to work with and manage different leadership styles. - Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex business documents. - Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients and/or public groups. - Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and drafting skills.
