Role Description CADRE is seeking an Automated Tester to design, build, and maintain automated test solutions supporting mission-critical federal programs focused on IT modernization and mortgage technology. This role partners with developers, product owners, and DevSecOps teams to ensure releases are reliable, secure, and compliant with applicable federal expectations. The Automated Tester helps drive a quality engineering culture by increasing automation coverage, shifting testing left, and contributing to continuous delivery in structured, federally aligned environments. This position is 100% remote. Company computer equipment is provided. A background check is required as a condition of employment. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and regression testing across modernized platforms. - Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks. - Implement API test automation (REST/JSON) using tools such as Postman/Newman, RestAssured, Karate, or similar. - Collaborate with developers to improve testability and implement unit and integration test strategies where appropriate. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) to enable continuous quality gates. - Define and manage test data, test environments, and automated reporting/metrics (pass rates, flaky tests, defect leakage). - Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into test scenarios and automation plans; support requirements analysis. - Perform defect triage and root-cause analysis; document results to accelerate resolution, reduce recurrence, and support audit readiness. - Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and collaborate effectively across distributed teams. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in software testing with significant hands-on test automation responsibility. - Proficiency in one or more languages commonly used for automation: Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript. - Experience testing web applications and APIs, including automated regression suites. - Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery and modern SDLC practices. - Familiarity with version control (Git) and test execution within CI/CD workflows. - Strong communication skills and ability to produce clear test documentation and defect reports. - Ability to meet federal contracting requirements, including completion of a background check. Role Description CADRE is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer specializing in AWS ETL to support an IT modernization program. Role Description The Test Manager provides program-wide quality assurance leadership, setting testing standards, mentoring testers, and overseeing execution and reporting across development teams. Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Loan Guaranty (LGY) IT modernization initiative. This role is responsible for the design, development, configuration, and deployment of Salesforce-based solutions that improve the delivery of veteran home loan benefits. The Salesforce Engineer will work within a DevSecOps-enabled Agile environment, contributing to scalable, secure, and high-performing applications across Salesforce platforms. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise combined with an understanding of federal compliance, system integration, and enterprise application development. Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect – Java to lead the design, modernization, and integration of enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java-based enterprise architectures, cloud-native technologies, and federal system integration within highly regulated environments.
