• Support commercial deployment and build clinical value for Bruker’s Sepsis solution • Engage with target customers ASC and clinical pharmacy teams during sales process to demonstrate the clinical, operational and economic value of Bruker’s Sepsis solutions • Organize local/regional ASC workshops to support value of Bruker’s solutions • Refocus Bruker’s marketing materials to reflect the clinical impact of its solutions • Promote Bruker’s solutions clinical value during conferences and tradeshows • Educate Bruker’s staff on antimicrobial stewardship • Co-develop clinically focused sales presentations and training modules • Conduct literature reviews, competitive assessments and clinical landscape monitoring • Collaborate with R&D and marketing unmet needs, workflow gaps and new products requirements

• Leading a team of direct sales staff, sales applications scientists, field assistants, order admin and marcom staff and channel partners to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals across multiple product lines within the regions. • Developing and executing of the Sales Strategy to maximize bookings growth and winrate for all product lines. • Accurate forecasting of the expecting bookings in the current and out quarters. • Product lines include Atomic Force Microscopes for materials science, Atomic Force Microscopes for Life Science, Nanoscale Infrared Spectrometry, Stylus and Optical Metrology, Tribology Testing and Instrumented Nanoindentation. • Position reports into Senior Vice President, Sales and Service.

• Own the Americas commercial P&L, including annual operating plan, revenue targets, gross margin, and operating expense management. • Develop and execute a multi-year regional growth strategy aligned with Tofwerk’s global product portfolio and vertical priorities. • Translate market intelligence — customer needs, competitive dynamics, regulatory shifts — into actionable commercial plans and inputs to the global product roadmap. • Identify and evaluate inorganic growth opportunities (partnerships, channel expansion, targeted acquisitions) in coordination with Tofwerk AG leadership. • Work closely with Bruker Billerica based support functions roles (HR, Payroll, AP/AR, IT, Compliance and Export Control). • Lead the Americas sales organization across capital instrument sales, aftermarket service contracts, consumables, and software/data offerings. • Build and instrument a disciplined forecasting and pipeline-management cadence; deliver predictable bookings and revenue against quarterly and annual plans. • Personally engage on strategic and lighthouse accounts — national labs, Tier-1 semiconductor manufacturers, leading pharmaceutical and academic research institutions, and key industrial customers. • Strengthen channel relationships and OEM partnerships where these accelerate access to target markets. • Ensure world-class post-sale experience through the regional applications scientist team and field service organization, driving high net retention and expansion within the installed base. • Align service offerings, response-time commitments, and support infrastructure with the expectations of mission-critical customers in semiconductor and pharmaceutical environments. • Champion the voice of the customer back into Switzerland-based engineering and product teams. • Partner with Global Marketing to localize messaging, lead-generation programs, conference presence, and thought leadership for the Americas.

Role Description We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service & Applications Scientist (m/f/d) to support advanced microscopy systems used in neuroscience and other research environments across Europe. This is a field-based, customer-facing role combining system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, while also incorporating a meaningful applications support component focused on imaging workflows. The role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong scientific background to transition into an applied, high-impact position supporting cutting-edge research. The position is location-flexible within the EU, provided there is good access to international travel. The role requires extensive travel across Europe (typically 60–70%). An extended technical and applications training program, including time at Bruker manufacturing and training sites (initially in the United States and/or Europe), will be provided to ensure the successful candidate develops strong service, applications, and customer support capabilities before taking full independent field responsibility. Responsibilities - Support the installation, qualification, maintenance, and repair of multiphoton microscopy systems at customer sites across Europe. - Diagnose and resolve optical, laser, electronic, mechanical, and software-related issues with guidance from colleagues. - Perform preventative maintenance, system calibrations, and performance checks following defined procedures. - Support of additional microscope products will be added after mastery of the multiphoton line. - Provide remote technical support. - Accurately document service activities in the service management system. - Support neuroscience imaging applications, including in vivo and ex vivo brain imaging, functional imaging, calcium/voltage indicators, and deep-tissue multiphoton experiments. - Assist customers with basic system optimization and experimental setups relevant to their research goals. - Apply scientific knowledge to help interpret imaging performance and offer practical recommendations. - Collaborate closely with senior service engineers, applications scientists, and R&D teams. - Communicate technical and scientific information to researchers with varying levels of experience. - Build professional, long-term relationships with customers through reliable, thoughtful support. - Share customer feedback and field insights with internal teams. Qualifications - Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Optics, or a closely related discipline (recent graduates encouraged to apply). - Hands-on experience with multiphoton (two-photon) microscopy. - Strong interest in applied technology, instrumentation, and transitioning into a field-based role. - Solid understanding of biological imaging techniques and experimental workflows. - Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Europe (typically 60-70%). - Willingness and ability to participate in extended training in the United States. - Fluency in English; additional European languages are advantageous. - Valid driving license and ability to work independently following training. • Work remotely with customers to diagnose BAXS instruments like X-ray diffractometers, Fluorescence spectrometers, Single crystal diffractometers, Optical emission spectrophotometers • Optimize instrument and/or accessory performance to meet specification • Create and maintain record of activity in support database • Provide a great customer experience through the entire support process • Effectively communicate with end-users to identify and resolve technical issues

• Prepare installations by reviewing the system’s technical specifications and confirming internal and client-side technical and hardware prerequisites to ensure on-time completion • Perform on-site system installations and provide client onboarding training to commission equipment in accordance with the specification • Carry out regular and/or preventive maintenance according to the defined protocol for the relevant system to meet compliance or contractual requirements • Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions on-site and/or via remote access to restore operational status • Maintain regular follow-up and a high-quality relationship with the client to sustain long-term commercial relationships • Write external and internal activity reports and log work in the dedicated service management software to ensure traceability and correct cost allocation • Act as the liaison between factory experts and the client to resolve complex technical issues • Contribute to the preparation of quotes/technical estimates for systems in the installed base to ensure compatibility and feasibility
