Job Summary TerraForm Power is seeking a Scheduler to support the Project Management team within the Operations organization. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules across renewable energy construction and repowering projects. The Scheduler will work closely with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure schedules accurately reflect project scope, sequencing, and resource requirements. The role will provide critical visibility into project timelines, identify schedule risks, and support the successful execution of projects from development through construction and commissioning. This position reports to the Vice President, Project Management and supports multiple projects within TerraForm’s renewable energy portfolio. Responsibilities Project Scheduling & Planning - Develop and maintain integrated master project schedules for renewable energy projects including solar, wind, and energy storage. - Build detailed schedules with appropriate work breakdown structures (WBS), sequencing, dependencies, and milestones. - Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure schedules reflect realistic execution timelines. - Incorporate contractor, vendor, and subcontractor schedules into the overall project schedule. Schedule Monitoring & Analysis - Track schedule progress and provide weekly and monthly schedule updates to project leadership. - Perform critical path analysis, identify near-critical activities, and recommend mitigation strategies. - Monitor schedule performance indicators including float trends, schedule variance, and milestone adherence. - Identify potential delays or risks and work with project teams to develop recovery plans. Project Controls & Reporting - Support project controls activities including earned value management (EVM), schedule performance analysis, and progress tracking. - Prepare schedule narratives, progress curves, and milestone reports for internal project teams and senior leadership. - Assist project managers with scenario planning and schedule impact analysis related to scope or schedule changes. - Maintain schedule documentation and ensure compliance with internal scheduling standards. Role Description TerraForm Power is seeking an Associate Manager, Project Management (PM) to directly manage and deliver assigned utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, responsible for independently managing assigned projects with accountability for end-to-end project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and contractor performance. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy, with escalation support and strategic guidance provided by the Director of Project Management as needed. Key Responsibilities - Independently manage the full lifecycle of assigned projects from late-stage development through construction and commercial operation (COD). - Own and manage project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with approved project baselines. - Lead day-to-day coordination with EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, consultants, and internal cross-functional teams. - Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules, cost reports, forecasts, risk registers, and key project controls. - Prepare and present regular project status reports to internal stakeholders, including schedule performance, budget status, risks, and mitigation plans. - Administer EPC and major project contracts, including change order evaluation, invoice review and approval, claims support, and document control. - Proactively identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate items to the Director as appropriate. - Lead project meetings, including contractor progress meetings, internal coordination calls, and site meetings. - Coordinate commissioning, testing, and handoff activities with operations and asset management teams. - Ensure contractor compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including lessons learned and process enhancements. The successful candidate will own the lifecycle of OT systems across HP/HPE/Intel servers, Synology NAS, Microsoft/VMware virtualization, certain AWS cloud services, and security tooling used to monitor and control grid-connected assets. Responsibilities - Architecture, Design & Implementation - Design and implement secure, resilient network and server architectures for T-ROC and support field sites (wind, solar, battery storage). - Evaluate and introduce new technologies (hardware, software, cloud, security) that improve reliability, scalability, and compliance; create solution designs, reference architectures, and implementation plans. - Build and support virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V), Windows Server, Azure and AWS environments as required for OT environments. - Configure and manage HP/HPE/Intel or similar server platforms and Synology NAS and similar for storage, backup, and replication; optimize performance and capacity planning. - Remote Operations Center (T-ROC) Operations - Support T-ROC infrastructure, including EMS/SCADA networks, historian, time synchronization (NTP/PTP), and reliable telemetry paths. - Ensure high availability, redundancy, and failover across T-ROC and remote sites; manage DR/BCP strategies, tabletop exercises, and recovery runbooks. - Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, and Asset Management to align changes with grid operations, dispatch needs, and regulatory obligations. - Security & Compliance (NERC CIP / OT Security) - Working with IT and Compliance, maintain security controls aligned to NERC CIP, with practical application in OT environments. - Design and enforce network segmentation between IT and OT, least-privilege access, MFA, secure remote/vendor access, and Zero Trust principles where applicable. - Lead/participate in incident response, cyber event triage, and post-incident reviews; maintain playbooks and test recovery procedures. - Own technical evidence for network/server controls (configs, logs, diagrams, test records) and support internal and external audits as SME. - Monitoring, Telemetry & Change Management - Deploy and maintain monitoring/observability across servers, network devices, applications, and site communications. - Implement configuration management, baseline verification, and change management processes that adhere to NERC CIP (including approvals, testing, back-out plans, and evidence). - Maintain accurate OT inventories (hardware, software, firmware), network diagrams, data flow maps, and access lists; ensure audit-ready documentation. - Operations & Support - Provide support for OT network/server issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions. - Schedule and execute maintenance windows, firmware/patch cycles, and lifecycle refresh plans. - Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for support, RMA, security advisories, and product roadmaps. - Collaboration across IT, OT, Compliance, Operations, Asset Management, Operations, and external partners. Role Description The Senior Manager, Development Engineering will lead the technical development of a portfolio of large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. Development Engineers at TerraForm work as peers with developers, sharing accountability and responsibility for project outcomes. While technically focused, this role requires approaching projects with both an engineering and development mindset. This position plays a key role in advancing projects from origination through late-stage development and is expected to operate with a high degree of ownership, influence, and cross-functional leadership. Depending on business needs and team structure, the role may function as a senior individual contributor and/or provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other engineers. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in development engineering design and interconnection management, particularly within the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. Responsibilities - Lead the technical execution of solar PV and BESS projects from origination through late-stage development including project design & interconnection management. - Utilize GIS based systems for site analysis and site selection, in partnership with developers. - Create preliminary site designs and energy yield analysis. - Lead the submittal of interconnection requests to utility/ISO/RTOs, develop interconnection upgrade estimates, interpret interconnection study results and negotiate with the utility to identify economic interconnection solutions. - Perform cost/benefit analysis of design and technology variants to optimize economic and performance outcomes. - Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless project transition from development to construction. - Work with Project Delivery & Operations Engineering to incorporate lessons learned. - Support regular project reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders. - Evaluate new equipment and design methodologies for PV and energy storage systems. - Support permitting including land use and zoning (typically Conditional Use Permit / Special Use Permit) via county planning and zoning authorities, as well as any state or federal permits as may be necessary (e.g. VA DEQ Permit By Rule). - Maintain a strong understanding of the technical requirements for specific projects, as well as industry trends in design, engineering solutions, equipment types, and technical risks. - Support the project acquisition due-diligence process. - Compile engineering submittals for proposals. - Manage of 3rd party consultants, as needed. - Other duties, as assigned. Subject Matter Expertise - Identifies and works to alleviate bottlenecks in development workflows. - Develops standards, processes, and tools to guide development engineering work. - Supports team members through mentorship, training, and work product review. - Reviews performance models, preliminary designs, & assumptions developed by team members. - Participates in project level strategic reviews. - Delivers presentations on specific topic areas of expertise when appropriate. Role Description We are seeking a skilled Manager or Senior Manager of Project Development to oversee the development of renewable energy projects, with a focus on wind repowering, redevelopment, and co-located battery storage. This role leads all aspects of the day-to-day development process including: - Technical diligence - Land work - Supporting the interconnection process - Securing discretionary local, state and federal permits - Negotiating tax abatements and similar economic incentive agreements - Supporting equipment selection and contracting - Project modeling activities The ideal candidate will bring relevant experience in renewable energy project development and will be comfortable interfacing with members of the public and community stakeholder groups, officials, regulators, and internal stakeholders. Project markets are expected to include PJM, MISO, ERCOT, and ISO-NE. Role Description Reporting to the Manager, Projects and Optimization, the Project Manager coordinates, inspects, and controls the work of engineering consultants, OEMs, and construction contractors contracted to perform projects at our existing Wind facilities in the US. Although experience in Wind is the preferred expertise sought in this posting, project management of other renewable technologies is possible. Travel (25% - 50%) will be required to effectively manage assigned projects. - Ensure contractors, sub-contractors, and their employees are complying with Terraform’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and requirements of the contract. - Work with interdepartmental multi-disciplinary teams to achieve expected results. - Prepare tendering documents and evaluate bid packages to ensure design adequacy and constructability. - Negotiate supply and EPC agreements with the procurement and legal teams. - Monitor construction activities to ensure design, specifications, and contracts are followed and that work is done according to scope, schedule, and within budget. - Participate in the development of project budgets and partner with cross-functional teams to build robust business cases that support strategic decision-making. - Provide general direction for internal and external Construction Service professionals. - Conduct general fieldwork, monitoring, coordination with other project teams, and local operations. - Attend/conduct pre-bid and preconstruction meetings, documenting minutes. - Prepare job planning documentation working closely with project stakeholders. - Ensure inspection of all work in place to ensure that work performed is in accordance with the contract drawings, specifications, regulatory requirements, and applicable codes. - Prepare and submit construction reports, reporting on health & safety, environmental, and construction progress (scope, schedule, cost). - Recommend corrective courses of action to management as issues arise. - Implement changes in the work plan to improve efficiency in work practices. - Assess the quality of the safety & environmental discussions and job plans. - Conduct Safe Work Observations on medium and high-risk work. - Attend Contractor's Health, Safety, and Environmental meetings. - Track costs and provide monthly forecasts per the contract including change orders. - Conduct contractor post-work evaluations in the areas of health and safety, environmental, technical, project management, and financial performance. - Manage and/or participate in technical due diligence efforts. - Support growth of the organization by supporting development and Merger & Acquisition activities as appropriate. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred. - Minimum of three (3) years of engineering/project management experience. - Project Management Professional or similar Project Management certification is preferred. - Experience/exposure in construction/operations of Wind is required; Solar, BESS, or power generation field is a plus. - Field experience related to the hazards associated with the work. - Experience in occupational health & safety and environmental regulations. - Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Requirements - Core knowledge of construction techniques, construction/project management, and contract negotiation and administration. - Adequate knowledge to inspect in-progress construction work to ensure compliance with the contract documents, specifications, permits, and drawings. - Strong time management skills with the ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects. - Good oral, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface and coordinate work on a daily basis with other disciplines and external organizations. - Good negotiation skills with clients, contractors, and vendors; vendor management experience in Wind. - Strong project management and organizational skills.
