Role Description Blackwall is seeking a Sales Executive to drive growth across hosting, cybersecurity, and infrastructure sectors. This isn’t a high-volume outbound sales role. We’re looking for someone who excels in consultative, technically complex sales - someone who can engage with technical decision-makers, understand their infrastructure challenges, and position Blackwall as the right solution. You’ll build strong commercial relationships, represent us with industry partners, and play a direct role in driving revenue and long-term growth. - Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, especially for technically sophisticated clients. - Understand and translate client infrastructure challenges into tailored solution proposals. - Develop and execute sales strategies that align with Blackwall’s goals for market expansion and revenue growth. - Identify and engage new business opportunities across hosting, cybersecurity, and infrastructure sectors. - Build strong, consultative relationships with technical stakeholders, including engineering and IT leaders. - Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience and contribute to the product roadmap. - Represent Blackwall at key industry events and conferences across the region. - Maintain accurate records in our CRM (HubSpot). Qualifications - 7+ years of sales, business development, or product experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, hosting, or infrastructure sectors. - Proven ability to sell technical products to both commercial and technical decision-makers. - Experience engaging with clients and understanding their needs, challenges, and goals. - Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal; another language is a plus. - A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment. - Highly self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote-first team. Requirements - Previous experience in sales engineering, solution consulting, or technical presales roles. - Familiarity with technologies such as CDNs, WAFs, APIs, or cloud infrastructure. - Hands-on experience with tools like HubSpot or other CRM platforms. Role Description We’re now hiring an AI Engineer to join our growing team and work closely with our Head of AI. You’ll help us bring intelligence to two distinct AI initiatives: - Embedding AI capabilities into our Web Application Firewall (WAF) - Powering behavioural analysis across the Blackwall server to detect and mitigate bot-driven threats This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for someone who thrives at the intersection of data science, software engineering, and security infrastructure. Engagement type: Full-time (contract basis) Location: Remote (within Europe) Compensation: Paid position; rate depends on experience and location Tasks - Collaborate with the Head of AI, product managers, and engineers to identify and deliver AI-driven security features. - Engineer and deploy ML models (e.g., LLMs, classifiers, anomaly detectors) into real-time systems like our WAF and behavioral analytics engine. - Build robust, low-latency ML pipelines using Python, C++, and SQL – ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability. - Apply adversarial learning and behavior modeling to differentiate between bots and human traffic under live traffic conditions. - Design and implement workflows that enhance data quality, latency, and decision reliability across production services. - Monitor, evaluate, and optimize deployed models, ensuring continuous learning and adaptation to emerging threats. - Present results and trade-offs in a clear, structured way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Contribute to Blackwall’s AI engineering practices by mentoring peers, conducting code reviews, and improving tooling. Qualifications - 3+ years of hands-on experience as an ML/AI engineer working on production systems, ideally in real-time or high-throughput environments. - Strong foundation in software engineering practices: version control, CI/CD, containerization, code testing, performance tuning. - Proficient in Python and SQL, with solid exposure to C++ or other systems-level languages. - Deep knowledge of ML models and deployment strategies – especially classification, anomaly detection, and behavioral modeling. - Experience working with LLMs or generative AI frameworks, including fine-tuning and serving. - Proven ability to translate ML research into scalable, reliable software systems. - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field; MSc or PhD preferred. - Experience working cross-functionally with data, product, and infrastructure teams. Bonus Points - Industry experience in cybersecurity, fraud detection, or bot mitigation. - Familiarity with cloud-native ML tooling (e.g., BigQuery, Airflow, Spark) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. - Contributions to open-source ML or security-focused projects.
