The Finance team at Blockstream plays an integral part in scaling the world's leading Bitcoin infrastructure company. We're looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team with a key role in driving financial strategy across our Consumer Products, and, Enterprise Solutions divisions. As a Senior Financial Analyst at Blockstream, you will partner with business leaders across the company to drive strategic decision-making through financial insights and analysis. You'll work with leaders across the company, using your financial insights and analysis to help them make better decisions. What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities): - Strategic Finance & Planning - Lead rolling forecasts, annual planning, and scenario modeling across Consumer Products and Enterprise Solutions - Build and maintain financial models for fundraising, M&A evaluation, and strategic decision-making - Own board materials and investor reporting — translating unit economics, KPIs, and Bitcoin-native metrics into clear, compelling narratives - Drive monthly business reviews with the executive team; be the connective tissue between Finance and Product, Engineering, and Business Development AI-Native Operations - Design and deploy AI-assisted workflows that automate recurring FP&A processes — variance analysis, forecast refreshes, reporting packages — using Claude, GPT, Gemini, or equivalent - Identify where LLMs can replace low-value analytical labor and build the infrastructure to make that permanent Business Partnership - Partner with business unit leaders to analyze ROI on infrastructure investments and new product initiatives - Develop pricing frameworks for crypto services, custody solutions, and consumer hardware - Translate on-chain data alongside traditional financials into insights that drive operating decisions What We Look For in You (Required Qualifications): - 4–7+ years in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Investment Banking - Demonstrated experience using AI tools (Claude, GPT, Gemini) to automate or accelerate financial analysis workflows, not just as a chat interface, but as an operational layer - Advanced financial modeling in Excel or Google Sheets; ability to build dynamic, scenario-driven models from scratch - Exceptional communication skills — you can write a board narrative and present to a CFO without hand-holding - Highly organized; capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment - Understanding of Bitcoin fundamentals and cryptocurrency markets. Nice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications): - Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier, Make) or LLM API integration - Familiarity with SQL or Python, not required, but useful for validating AI-generated outputs - Experience with ERP or BI platforms (NetSuite, Looker, Tableau) - CFA or MBA - Background in Bitcoin, crypto, or high-growth fintech - Experience at a startup Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this role is $120,000 – $150,000 USD, depending on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, full-time Blockstream employees receive: Target equity grants and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)). Work Environment This is a hybrid position, with an expectation of 2–3 days per week in our Los Angeles office.

• Translate vision into actionable roadmap, own the product narrative and communicate effectively to all levels of the organization • Engage with engineering in technical conversations, understanding implications of technical decisions, and align Engineering work to product goals • Lead project execution, anticipating and resolving roadblocks, coordinating the work of teammates, and clearly communicating goals and status with the organization • Identify product opportunities, translating them into clear milestones and artefacts that align with Business Objectives • Support Continuous Discovery habits, engage in market and customer research, follow regulatory/market news, identify trends • Conduct customer discovery workshops, document findings, translate insights into signals and identify gaps in the product roadmap • Drive product requirements, drive product documentation and own the workstream, collaborating with Engineering, Design, Business and Marketing teams • Gather qualitative and quantitative data to be able to support or challenge product assumptions/feature requests

• Work as a core contributor to the Blockstream Jade firmware, writing robust, secure C/Python code within a small, agile team. • Extend and optimize our support for advanced signing protocols such as taproot, atomic swaps, and simplicity. • Design and implement features like air-gapped camera signing, cryptographic primitives, and secure communication protocols. • Develop optimized solutions to work within a resource constrained execution environment. • Contribute to a transparent, open source codebase where your work is visible to the entire Bitcoin community.

• Take immediate ownership of the European market, replacing previous coverage and scaling the team through recruitment and mentorship of junior BDRs. • Proactively identify, qualify, and close new enterprise partnerships within European financial hubs, targeting Tier-1 banks, asset managers, and digital asset firms. • Spearhead the development and execution of Blockstream's GTM strategy tailored specifically to the European regulatory and institutional landscape. • Leverage a deep existing network to drive joint initiatives with executive stakeholders, navigating complex sales cycles from initial outreach to final agreement. • Partner with our Solutions Architects and global commercial teams to ensure technical alignment and translate regional market intelligence into product requirements. • Manage the end-to-end negotiation process for MOUs, LOIs, and partnership agreements, ensuring terms align with Blockstream’s long-term Bitcoin-native vision. • Act as the primary face of Blockstream at major European industry events and conferences to cultivate strategic opportunities.

• Own the architecture and technical vision for Blockstream’s platform and shared services • Design scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant distributed systems supporting Bitcoin, Layer-2, and enterprise products • Define platform standards for APIs, data models, service boundaries, and infrastructure patterns • Partner with engineering teams to guide implementation, review designs, and resolve complex technical challenges • Collaborate with Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure defense-in-depth, key management, and operational resilience • Evaluate and introduce new technologies while balancing innovation with operational maturity • Ensure platform designs support regulatory, enterprise, and institutional requirements without compromising decentralization principles • Document architectural decisions, tradeoffs, and long-term technical roadmaps • Mentor senior engineers and help raise the overall architectural rigor across teams

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA Engineers, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration. • Define and oversee the implementation of test strategies, ensuring coverage for functional, performance, security, and regression testing. • Design and maintain automated testing frameworks for blockchain-based applications and APIs. • Establish best practices for QA processes and continuously improve testing methodologies to enhance product quality. • Work closely with developers to review features, identify testability concerns, and ensure proper validation of new functionalities. • Manage bug tracking and reporting processes, ensuring timely resolution of defects. • Coordinate with DevOps to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and optimize execution in cloud-based environments. • Stay updated with blockchain and fintech QA trends, security vulnerabilities, and best practices. • Communicate QA metrics, progress, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.

• Develop and execute: test plans, test cases, and test scripts for blockchain-based applications and APIs. • Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for functional, performance, and security testing. • Conduct manual and automate testing of transactions, wallets, payment systems, and decentralized applications. • Identity, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g. Jira, GitHub). • Collaborate with developers to conduct feature reviews and ensure testability of new features. • Perform security testing to detect vulnerabilities in products. • Work closely with DevOps to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, and optimize test execution in cloud-based environments. • Conduct regression testing and maintain a robust suite of automated tests to prevent system failures. • Research and implement test practices for blockchain and fintech QA methodologies.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to identify documentation gaps and prioritize content based on user needs and product roadmaps. • Design and manage the structural hierarchy for both internal engineering wikis and public-facing documentation. • Create and maintain standardized templates and style guides. • Design and implement the "docs-as-code" pipeline, ensuring documentation is built, tested, and deployed in line with the software development lifecycle. • Act as the lead writer for critical technical artifacts, including API references, architectural overviews, and integration guides. • Audit and update existing documentation to reflect product changes, ensuring that all content remains reliable and up to date. • Optimize the content to help users find the right information at the right time. • Design visual aids, presentations, and learning materials that simplify complex technical concepts. • Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate the creation of content while maintaining a human-in-the-loop quality standard. • Define guidelines for how AI tools are used by the engineering team to ensure technical documentation remains accurate and secure.

• Research and analyze industry trends, technologies, and market developments across Bitcoin, fintech, and enterprise infrastructure. • Develop original insights, commentary, and “hot takes” that position Blockstream as a leading voice in the Bitcoin ecosystem. • Plan, edit, and publish content across owned channels (blog, newsletter, social, and website). • Work with internal stakeholders — including engineering, product, and communications — to ensure all content is accurate, aligned, and well-positioned. • Consolidate and maintain a content library that serves as a single source of truth for public materials and messaging. • Uphold Blockstream’s editorial standards — thoughtful, credible, and grounded in technical and economic reality. • Support broader marketing initiatives, including product launches, announcements, and thought leadership campaigns.

• Identify user needs and pain points based on user data and transform UX goals into easy-to-use, elegant, and accessible designs • Create journey maps, use cases, flow diagrams, storyboards, and prototypes • Translate concepts into intuitive interactions and experiences and validate them through prototyping and user testing • Collaborate with other designers, product managers and the engineering team throughout the product lifecycle to ensure your designs are addressing user and business needs, feasible to implement, and are subsequently implemented accurately • Support user research efforts on multiple aspects of the products through qualitative and quantitative research methods • Adopt, evolve and refine our design system, ensuring visual cohesion and engineering efficiency across all user touchpoints
