Role Description This isn't a traditional Country Manager role. You won't inherit a large local team or simply execute a marketing plan. Instead, you'll own one of the company's most important strategic priorities: Build Spain into Bitstack's second core market. You'll become the internal expert on Spain, working directly with the founders and partnering with our Product, Growth, Engineering, Design, Brand, Data, Operations, Compliance and Customer Support teams. Every day, you'll ask one question: What is preventing Bitstack from becoming the leading Bitcoin savings platform in Spain? Then you'll help the company solve it. You'll own Bitstack's success in Spain by: - Developing our go-to-market strategy and identifying the biggest growth opportunities - Building a scalable acquisition engine with our central Growth team - Developing partnerships across the Spanish fintech, media and creator ecosystem - Bringing deep customer and market insights to influence our product roadmap - Coordinating local launches, campaigns and market initiatives - Representing Bitstack with partners, journalists, creators and the broader startup ecosystem This isn't about owning every function. It's about making every function more successful in Spain. Within 12–18 months, you'll have helped: - Make Spain Bitstack's largest international market - Build profitable and scalable customer acquisition - Establish Bitstack as a trusted consumer fintech brand in Spain - Create the playbook we'll use to expand across Europe Ultimately, you'll be measured by one outcome: has Spain become another France? • Own and evolve Bitstack's visual identity system across all brand touchpoints • Create thoughtful, polished, visually compelling brand design across web, campaign, social, experiential, interactive, and digital channels. • Work with marketing to bring campaigns to life visually, create assets for campaigns, social media, and branding initiatives • Establish brand guidelines and systems that ensure consistency as we scale rapidly • Use AI and emerging creative tools as part of your process — not as a shortcut, but as a way to explore faster, push further, and make stronger work • Be scrappy and hands-on with whatever the brand needs, from an Instagram carousel to landing page • Help set and raise the bar for visual quality brand work, defining what great looks like

• Lead Bitstack's regulatory compliance strategy across MiCA/CASP, payments, and EMI activities. • Build, manage, and continuously improve scalable governance, escalation, and internal control frameworks across entities and products. • Primary point of contact with the AMF and ACPR, ensuring timely response to all regulatory obligations and requests, while securing, maintaining, and scaling Bitstack's regulatory licences across EU markets. • Oversee regulatory audits, inspections, independent controls, and remediation plans. • Support and monitor regulatory developments across MiCA, AML/CFT, PSD2, EMI, payments, stablecoins, and digital assets, and translate them into operational actions. • Act as the primary TRACFIN correspondent and declarant, taking full ownership of suspicious activity reporting, enhanced due diligence processes, sanctions governance, high-risk customer management frameworks, and all related regulatory reporting obligations. • Manage all operational AML and fraud compliance frameworks ( including KYC/KYB, EDD, PEP, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, fraud escalation, adverse media reviews) • Ensure compliance operations scale effectively as Bitstack expands across products and markets. • Drive operational excellence across compliance workflows, tooling, SLAs, and remediation processes. • Build dashboards, KPIs/KRIs, reporting, and governance processes to improve visibility and control. • Strengthen Bitstack's internal control framework and operational risk management capabilities. • Oversee third-party compliance providers, outsourced controls, and operational risk related to external partners and regulated service providers. • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, and Customer Care to embed compliance into product development from day one. • Translate complex regulatory requirements into pragmatic product and operational decisions. • Act as a business partner to leadership teams while maintaining strong regulatory rigor. • Support the launch of new products, markets, partnerships, and regulated activities. • Scale and develop the Risk & Compliance organization as Bitstack grows. • Recruit, mentor, and structure high-performing compliance, risk, and internal control teams. • Build a culture of ownership, operational rigor, transparency, and sound risk management. • Lead company-wide compliance training, awareness, and risk culture initiatives.

• Use quantitative analysis to understand what drives Bitstack’s business and product performance. • Build full-cycle analytics work: datasets, dashboards, and executive-ready narratives. • Create repeatable analytical frameworks (cohorts, segmentation, measurement plans) rather than one-off answers. • Partner with Engineering to implement, validate, and monitor event logging and data quality. • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance/Risk, Ops, Support, and Finance to scope ambiguous problems and turn them into data-backed decisions. • Proactively identify levers to move key metrics, size opportunities, and recommend actions.

• Own complex technical initiatives from discovery through production and beyond • Drive architectural decisions that shape our savings and banking platforms • Collaborate closely with Product and Design to influence technical direction and trade-offs • Ship high quality, scalable, reliable systems in a production environment • Take responsibility for system reliability, security and long-term maintainability • Proactively identify and lead improvements across infrastructure, security and developer tooling • Work in a highly compliant environment and contribute to the larger Bitcoin ecosystem • Raise the engineering bar through strong technical judgement and mentorship

• Collaborate closely with engineering, care, and compliance to deliver impactful projects • Lead end-to-end design initiatives, from idea to polished delivery, and taking ownership for achieving their success • Create mockups, prototypes, and high-quality visuals with exceptional attention to detail • Use and improve our lightweight design system components • Communicate design decisions with clarity, inviting feedback while holding a strong vision • Contribute to set the bar for design quality and the culture for how design works at Bitstack

• Own execution of the engineering strategy • Partner closely with the CTO and cross-functional leaders to translate company priorities into clear plans and delivery outcomes. • Lead and support multiple engineering teams • Provide leadership across squads, ensuring teams are aligned, unblocked, and consistently delivering meaningful business impact. • Build high-performing teams through hiring and coaching • Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent, while developing engineers and managers through feedback, mentorship, and career support. • Create clarity, structure, and accountability • Help teams navigate ambiguity, set goals, define success metrics, and improve predictability of delivery. • Drive engineering excellence and pragmatic technical decision-making • Support technical direction, guide trade-offs, and ensure teams build scalable and maintainable systems. • Strengthen collaboration across Product, Design, and Data • Foster strong partnerships across functions to ensure smooth execution and shared ownership of outcomes. • Champion culture and ways of working • Promote psychological safety, continuous improvement, and an environment where engineers can do their best work.
