• Contribute hands-on across the full lifecycle of AI products, from prototyping new initiatives to deploying and maintaining production AI services for internal teams and external customers. • Plan, implement, and maintain end-to-end agents. This includes selecting the right models, designing prompts, setting up Model Context Protocols (MCPs) and tool integrations, running evaluations, and ensuring production health. • Operate AI-natively every day. Actively utilize AI agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, custom pipelines) to plan, implement, review, and debug your work. • Contribute to the foundational platform other Belvo squads use to ship AI, focusing on agent abstractions, conversation and state storage, durable workflow orchestration, streaming interfaces, observability, and guardrails. • Stay at the forefront of the industry by testing new models, agentic frameworks, and MCP-native patterns, selecting options based on pragmatic production reliability, cost, and latency. • Instrument and monitor AI pipelines using Langfuse and Datadog to debug failed agent runs, detect regressions, and maintain production health. • Support enablement efforts that help other Belvo squads adopt AI safely through reference implementations, integration patterns, and shared tooling.

• Shape Cross-Border Strategy: Manage the execution of the product strategy team across Brazil and Mexico. • Architect New Product Launches: Lead high-stakes, cross-team initiatives from ideation to scale. • Quantify & Communicate Impact: Understand the impact of new initiatives on market share. • Drive Cultural & Org Change: Make organizational changes improving "speed to market." • High-Level Mentorship: Advise and mentor senior ICs and managers across the broader product org.

• Manage our AWS infrastructure using ECS, Terraform, and other IaC tools • Build automation and self-service tools that enable product teams to work autonomously • Design and implement monitoring and alerting systems that detect problems before they become outages • Participate in on-call rotation for production infrastructure • Partner with product teams to understand their needs, troubleshoot issues, and evangelize platform capabilities • Improve deployment processes to make them faster and more flexible • Support compliance and regulatory initiatives • Leverage AWS managed services and industry-standard tools so we can focus on our business problems

• Design, develop, and maintain features for our Mexican payments ecosystem, ensuring high reliability and security in a regulated environment. • Build secure and high-quality code using TypeScript, NestJS on the backend, and React on the frontend, leveraging AI tools to optimize your workflow and output. • Understand the impact your code has on our clients and proactively tackle potential improvements and pain points. • Create excellent documentation and continuously improve the “developer experience” of Belvo’s platform. • Implement automated quality assurance and monitoring modules to ensure platform stability. • Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to drive the execution and delivery of new features.

• Lead one of the company’s most successful product lines — the Payments vertical in Mexico. • Manage and mentor the operations team, ensuring task efficiency through automation, engineering solutions, and data-driven process improvement. • Collaborate closely with providers and clients to identify and define new business opportunities. • Drive new product initiatives from ideation to production: build MVPs, validate hypotheses, and scale what works. • Think big — define a shared vision and strategy across the organization, aligning teams and building a roadmap that drives meaningful, long-term change across the payments ecosystem. • Partner internally with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure cross-functional alignment and execution. • Use data deeply — analyze user behavior, market dynamics, and performance metrics to refine requirements and guide decisions. • Delight customers — build lasting relationships with clients and internal customer-facing teams. • Develop and maintain connections to financial institutions to retrieve data and initiate payments via Open Finance • Leverage LLMs and AI tools to automate the normalization and enrichment of data into homogeneous, beautiful endpoints that power our API • Design and develop robust software architecture to support regulated payments environments and data retrieval at scale • Adopt an AI-first mindset to accelerate development, from using coding assistants to building internal AI agents that improve system reliability • Own the creation of programmatic tools, services, and workflows to improve the reliability of the Open Finance ecosystem • Implement AI-powered monitoring and automated quality assurance to proactively detect anomalies in mission-critical financial services • Interface with other institutions’ engineering teams or the Open Finance Service Desk to debug and resolve technical bottlenecks • Carefully manage API retro-compatibility and deprecation plans for growing products
