About the Opportunity: As our Assistant General Counsel, reporting to our EVP Chief Legal Officer, your contributions will be critical in supporting our continued growth as you design, refine and implement an efficient and scalable contracting process. You will partner with key areas of the organization including product, customer success, partnerships, privacy/data security, and sales to help modernize and build our contracting function for our many FinTech software and services offerings for the mortgage servicing industry. Your Day to Day at Sagent: Design, develop and implement efficient contracting process to support multiple loan servicing platforms. Creatively strategize renewals and support the modernization of legacy contracts. Work in close collaboration with product management, customer success and sales to provide best-in-class legal service. Support optimization of legal process. Keep current on product offerings and translate them into SaaS, MSA SOW’s and similar contracting models. We'd love to hear from you if you have: 10 years legal experience with preferably 5 years negotiating technology related contracts U.S. law degree (J.D.) required.  Actively licensed to practice in at least one state. Experience drafting, negotiating, summarizing, and closing technology transactions. A desire to be part of a fast-paced team with high level legal needs. Experience with intellectual property in SaaS environment. Experience with cloud computing contracting. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with business and product groups providing legal support. Role focus Aztec Labs is a UK headquartered software development company that (1) helped develop the Aztec Network, the first open-source, permissionless, decentralised and programmable privacy Layer 2 on Ethereum and (2) is currently focused on developing groundbreaking privacy apps on Aztec. We are looking for someone to serve as senior legal counsel. You will work closely with our General Counsel to identify and navigate potential legal and regulatory challenges, and develop internal processes across product, business development, finance, human resources, operations, and compliance. Please note this role will be based out of either London, UK or New York US. Your responsibilities will include: Draft and negotiate all types of varied legal contracts, including code audit review agreements, advisor engagement agreements, and other legal documents Assist in developing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices Help build and improve internal contract templates and manage the company’s legal documentation database Collaborating with cross-functional partners on the legal implications across the company’s strategy, product development, financial matters, commercial partnerships, corporate matters, internal policies, compliance, IP, negotiations and more Manage the company’s internal corporate affairs and filings, including managing the board process and prepare resolutions / minutes and ensure all relevant filings are completed in a timely manner Manage the legal aspects of company’s share option / token pool strategy Horizon scanning of regulatory developments Conduct legal research and analysis and attend policy meeting updates to stay abreast of regulatory developments and other legal / policy trends Assist in drafting regulatory responses to consultations with a view to shaping policy Work closely with the operations team and manage relationships with external counsel, policy groups as well as the broader Aztec ecosystem Qualifications

• Create and implement comprehensive social media strategies tailored to Web3 retail audiences and privacy maxis. • Align campaigns with the technical roadmap and overarching marketing goals. • Develop engaging and original content in the form of short-form copy, video shorts, polls, and more, leveraging updated algorithms and best practices. • Excited to experiment with trends and new types of content, with an outgoing, on-camera personality that embraces social moments on screen. • Foster meaningful interactions with community members and followers, responding to DM’s daily. • Manage social media agencie(s) to support new follower growth and engagement across-platforms. • Enjoys diving deep into analytics and metrics to understand what’s working, and can move quickly to iterate based on the data to amplify what’s performing well. • Report on social media performance and audience insights to key stakeholders. • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to amplify content and messaging.
