• Develop and execute donor marketing strategies that drive increased giving, retention, and reactivation. • Build and manage the annual donor marketing calendar, aligning campaigns with fundraising goals. • Identify opportunities to improve donor engagement through personalized, data-driven marketing. • Own the execution of integrated donor marketing campaigns across email, direct mail, and other donor touchpoints from planning through execution and reporting. • Manage campaign timelines and collaborate with internal external partners to deliver successful campaigns. • Work with vendor partners to execute effective projects on time and on budget. • Write and edit donor-focused fundraising copy for emails, letters and donation pages. • Guide and steward donation page content and structure. • Partner with data teams to improve conversion rates and average gift. • Ensure all donor communications are mission-driven, audience-focused, and aligned with our brand. • Take ownership of revenue performance for general donors and monitor campaign effectiveness. • Analyze donor behavior and campaign data to improve engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue. • Conduct A/B testing and continuous optimization to improve campaign performance and donor outcomes. • Uphold and demonstrate the Awana cultural values in all internal and external communications and relationships. • Contribute to special projects, initiatives and evolving ministry needs. • Embrace opportunities for professional development in order to hone your craft and expertise.
• Identify, cultivate and steward strategic relationships with influential churches, ministry leaders, pastors, denominational leaders, ministry organizations, authors, speakers, and practitioners in the children’s and family ministry space. • Develop relational pathways that move leaders from awareness of Awana into deeper engagement with content, podcasts, cohorts, events, curriculum, and partnership opportunities. • Represent Awana and ChildDiscipleship.com at churches, conferences, off-sites, and strategic gatherings. • Host conversations, podcasts, cohorts, and convenings that strengthen Awana’s credibility and visibility in the child discipleship space. • Serve as a relational intelligence source for internal teams by sharing what key churches and ministry leaders are seeing, needing, asking, and building. • Help position Awana as a trusted partner and convener among leaders committed to forming lasting faith in children and families. • Create intentional next steps for strategic relationships, including podcast invitations, cohort participation, event involvement, curriculum conversations, content collaboration, summit participation, or deeper organizational partnership.
• Edit and proofread Clubs curriculum materials, including child handbooks, leader guides, teaching resources, Scripture memory materials, and family resources. • Review supporting content such as parent resources, activities, and supplemental ministry tools. • Ensure content is clear, accurate, age-appropriate, and aligned with Awana’s theological standards, voice, and brand guidelines. • Verify Scripture references, doctrinal accuracy, and ministry terminology. • Maintain consistency in tone, structure, and quality across content for children, leaders, and families. • Write and revise curriculum content for children, leaders, and families in partnership with the Clubs curriculum team. • Support the development, updating, and maintenance of curriculum products and ministry resources. • Adapt content for print, digital, and in-club formats. • Improve content clarity, engagement, and usability for diverse age groups and audiences.
• Oversee all scheduling, assigning, and tracking project progress and tasks across the Creative Team. • Efficiently interface with project management software/tools to manage, track and report status for projects/tasks. • Manage ongoing project tracking by maintaining current information on job status, costs, deadlines, and other pertinent information for all Creative team projects. • Serve as production liaison for Creative team. • Suggest and implement specific ideas and systems for improving efficiency and productivity. • Assess team member capacity and recommend timeframes and deadlines. • Suggest alternative project completion solutions, such as balancing workloads or using outside resources. • Ensure team members are tracking with responsibilities, costs, and upcoming deadlines. • Track the Creative team’s progress within Fiscal Year expectations and goals. • Timely communication of progress back to the team leader to ensure success and changes as necessary. • Collaborate with the Creative Director regularly to review project status and plan future activity. • Lead and manage a growing video team, including video editors, animators, and contract videographers. • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of photo and video shoots to ensure alignment with ministry objectives and brand standards. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate ministry goals into clear video and storytelling deliverables. • Manage relationships with external production vendors and freelancers, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to budget. • With input from the video team, develop and maintain a clear, centralized process for all video projects, from concept to final delivery. • Partner with teammates to align visual storytelling with the broader brand strategy. • Ensure consistency and excellence in all video content across ministry channels and campaigns.
• As the Graphic Designer I, you will play an important role in furthering our mission by using current and trending design concepts, technologies and tools to create compositions that visually represent our brand, and by preparing files for production and managing technical specs for everything from ads to packaging. • In this role you will collaborate with freelancers, vendors and team members across the ministry in preparing deliverables designed to engage our current and prospective partners, members, churches, clubs, discipleship leaders, and children in the mission and call to action of Awana. • You’ll thrive in this role if you can craft compelling visual narratives and support the team with production responsibilities while having a heart for mission work that directly impacts the lives of children and youth around the world. • This position is primarily remote with some travel required based on strategic organizational meetings, including annual conferences and assisting with occasional photoshoots. Primary travel locations would be our offices in St. Charles, IL or Nashville, TN.
• Typeset copy into lesson templates and supporting resources across all Brite curriculum offerings with consistency in formatting, readability, and brand standards. • Design engaging, age-appropriate printables that correlate and enhance lesson content and support various learning styles. • Ensure all designed assets are optimized for both print and digital use (formatting, margins, resolution, file size, usability). • Collaborate with curriculum writers and team members to translate content into visually clear, effective teaching materials. • Maintain and advance design templates to ensure consistency and efficiency across curriculum products. • Design additional curriculum resources as needed. • Organize and maintain curriculum files using consistent naming conventions and folder structures for ease of access and scalability. • Upload and manage digital assets on Britecurriculum.com, ensuring files are accurate, complete, and properly categorized. • Update lesson content and resources on the website, ensuring alignment. • Monitor site content for broken links, outdated files, or inconsistencies, and proactively resolve issues. • Support ongoing improvements to site organization and user experience for internal teams and customers. • Develop and implement systems and checklists to minimize errors and ensure consistency across all curriculum assets. • Conduct thorough final reviews of all materials prior to publication, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand and curriculum standards. • Identify and troubleshoot design, formatting, or usability issues, making corrections as needed. • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve workflows and quality assurance processes. • Assist customers with troubleshooting and resolving specific issues related to curriculum resources, providing "above and beyond" connection and support. • Actively collaborate in the ideation, development, improvement, and promotion of curriculum. • Contribute to a culture of integrated workflow and information sharing. • Support, uphold, and demonstrate Awana’s cultural values in internal and external communications and relationships. • Contribute to special projects, initiatives and evolving ministry needs. • Embrace opportunities for professional development in order to hone your craft and expertise.
