Role Description AvaCloud is experiencing incredible growth and is seeking a Director of Growth to accelerate adoption. Reporting to the CEO, AvaCloud, this is an exciting opportunity to lead our global growth strategy. This is an ideal role for professionals with a strong business entrepreneurial mindset who have prior experience selling SaaS products, and driving business development and partnerships. - Develop and execute growth strategies: - Create and implement data-driven strategies to drive customer acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth. - Lead growth experiments: - Design and conduct A/B tests, analyze results, and iterate on marketing campaigns and product features to optimize key metrics. - Collaborate across teams: - Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and business development teams to align growth initiatives with overall business objectives. - Analyze data and identify opportunities: - Utilize data analytics to understand user behavior, identify growth opportunities, and measure the effectiveness of campaigns. - Manage growth budget and resources: - Allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve growth targets. - Stay ahead of the curve: - Research and implement new growth tactics, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge. - Build a growth-oriented culture: - Foster a data-driven, experimental mindset across the organization and empower teams to contribute to growth initiatives. - Report on growth performance: - Track and analyze key growth metrics, communicate progress to stakeholders, and provide actionable insights. Qualifications - Bachelors Degree or MBA - Proven track record: - Demonstrated success in driving significant growth in a SaaS, PaaS or Web3 technology company. - Data-driven mindset: - Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from data and make data-informed decisions. - Growth hacking expertise: - Deep understanding of growth hacking principles, A/B testing methodologies, and user acquisition strategies. - Marketing and product knowledge: - Familiarity with various marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing) and product development processes. - Leadership and communication skills: - Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and build consensus. - Creative problem-solving: - A knack for identifying creative solutions to growth challenges and a willingness to experiment and take risks. - Passion for growth: - A genuine enthusiasm for driving growth and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. - Technical proficiency: - Comfortable with data analysis tools, marketing automation platforms, and other relevant technologies. • Own and drive strategy for all Ava Labs social channels: Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram • Develop and execute platform-specific content calendars aligned to product launches, ecosystem milestones, and market moments • Grow audience, engagement, and brand affinity across all platforms with a data-driven approach • Partner closely with our CEO to curate, draft, and refine Twitter/X content that authentically captures his voice and perspective • Develop a deep understanding of the CEO’s communication style, opinions, and priorities to ghostwrite tweets and threads that feel native and resonant • Proactively surface timely tweet recommendations and reactive commentary opportunities aligned with industry conversations • Directly manage and mentor a team of 1, setting clear goals and career development priorities • Serve as the senior social voice within the Marketing org, collaborating cross-functionally with PR/Communications, Content, Partner Marketing, Events, and BD teams • Establish scalable processes for content production, approval, scheduling, and performance reporting • Independently clip, edit, and publish short-form video content from long-form sources (podcasts, AMAs, interviews, events) • Perform basic photo editing and graphic production to enable fast publishing without always requiring designer support • Source and adapt content from across the Avalanche ecosystem to amplify community voices and partner narratives • Track, analyze, and report on channel performance metrics; translate insights into actionable strategy adjustments • Monitor competitor and industry social activity to identify trends and positioning opportunities

• Provide operational and content support to the blockchain policy team • Assist with content development for APC/Owl Explains, including organizing drafts, proofreading, posting, and copyediting • Coordinate with internal teams (Comms, Legal/Compliance, etc.) to ensure alignment on public-facing materials • Support social media execution across platforms (X, LinkedIn, Instagram), including drafting posts and scheduling content • Support podcast and event logistics, including preparation, coordination, and follow-ups • Assist in drafting and formatting APC/Owl Explains policy comment letters, including background research and incorporating feedback • Contribute to ad-hoc research projects related to blockchain, digital assets, and emerging policy discussions

• Define and develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Fortary with a focus on institutional trading, lending and liquidity, aligning with company objectives • Execute cross-functionally with engineering, business development, marketing, and design to deliver impactful product outcomes • Research and understand customer needs across institutional segments to inform product direction • Define and benchmark institutional competitors with a focus on institutional trading, lending, and liquidity to differentiate Fortary with it’s clients. • Define market opportunities and develop them into clear product strategies, prioritized roadmaps, and revenue streams. • Develop and scale core platform capabilities across Fortary, ensuring a seamless, secure, and high-quality user experience • Work closely with engineering and design teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver product milestones • Engage with institutional clients and partners to gather feedback, validate solutions, and drive adoption • Deliver go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and successful product launches • Translate complex technical concepts into clear requirements and business value for internal and external stakeholders • Execute effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment where adaptability and ownership are critical

• Lead collaboration with the Business Development team in conducting in-depth technical discussions with external clients • Accurately capture nuanced feedback from external parties and convert ambiguous business requirements into precise technical specifications • Co-own and drive the strategic platform roadmap in partnership with Engineering leadership • Continuously evaluate the current platform's feature set against competing offerings • Actively participate in architecture review sessions, engaging senior engineers with informed questions regarding technical trade-offs

• Lead Product Design for Fortary, an institutional-grade digital asset custody platform. • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design to craft intuitive, user-centric experiences. • Conduct user research, uncover insights, and translate findings into clear problem definitions and innovative solutions. • Design and deliver system components, rapid prototypes, and polished UI/UX flows. • Be able to independently own and build scalable design systems with front-end developers in mind. • Own end-to-end user journeys - from concept to launch - ensuring simplicity, clarity, and elegance. • Drive ideation and explore new design directions with cross-functional partners. • Participate in design critiques, contributing constructive feedback and elevating team standards. • Plan and coordinate product testing programs for internal and external stakeholders.
