Who We Want As the Mexico Operations Manager at Arrive, you will lead the operational execution and strategic management of key cross-border accounts, ensuring service excellence in collaboration with BD and Carrier teams. What You’ll Do Operational Execution - Collaborate with BD and Carrier teams to deliver exceptional service across key Mexico cross-border accounts. - Review and analyze account performance data (daily, weekly, monthly) to monitor KPIs, optimize processes, and share key insights with customer base. - Lead continuous improvement efforts within account operations to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction and drive overall customer growth - Coordinate with operational support teams (e.g., Border Operations) to ensure smooth transit and 24/7 service coverage. - Audit the team load board, ensuring proper appointment scheduling, shipment tracking, and pricing and offer management. - Assist with managing accounts receivable and aging to limit invoicing issues and manage DSOs. - Serve a point of escalation for operational challenges, working with internal teams to resolve issues promptly. - Provide feedback to technology teams to improve systems and tools that support Mexico operations. - Ensure that all customer requests and operational issues are addressed in a timely manner and that appropriate follow up is also actioned - Lead by example as a player-coach, actively participating in day-to-day operations and stepping in to handle tasks when needed to ensure team success and maintain operational excellence People Management - Help oversee and manage Account Coordinators, Associates, Specialists, Advisors, and Team Leads within the Mexico Operations Team, including onboarding, coaching, and performance management. - Host regular 1:1 meetings with Team Leads and direct reports to review account and team performance, discuss progress, address challenges, and provide coaching on areas for improvement and needed support. - Conduct quarterly career development conversations with the Team Lead and direct reports to discuss career growth, opportunities, strengths, areas for improvement, and goal setting. - Partner with Employee Success to identify early talent, assess flight risks, and evaluate the effort and performance metrics of direct reports. - Assign stretch projects or tasks to direct reports to foster engagement and create developmental opportunities. - Act as hiring manager for open roles on the Operations team and help identify internal talent pipelines. - Champion organizational changes, clearly communicating the reasons behind them, promoting a positive outlook within the team, and driving accountability with overall adoption. - Ensure all team members maintain a high level of professionalism, intervening when necessary. - Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative, and positive team culture within the Guadalajara office Account Strategy - Partner with BD and sales teams to develop and implement strategies for growing key accounts - Serve as a cross-border logistics expert, building strong relationships with internal teams and external customers. - Partner with Implementation Manager to facilitate an efficient and accurate onboarding process that gives Arrive a competitive advantage. - Travel as needed to engage with customers, educating them on cross-border services and building trust. - Provide operational feedback to BD Reps and Pricing teams for incumbent business to ensure alignment with customer requirements and competitive rates Qualifications - Fluency in Spanish and English - 6+ years minimum of previous experience in Operations or Account Management at a 3PL, - 4+ years minimum focusing on Cross-Border Mexico. - 2+ years of people management experience. - Proven track record of exceeding performance goals in all freight markets. - Strong collaboration with other departments. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. - Able to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other team members to achieve results. - Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite; you can conduct analysis and create presentations independently. - Prior experience working in a 3PL (third-party logistics) company, with a strong understanding of supply chain operations, logistics management, and client relationship building. You will be assisting a carrier representative with individualized support with tracking, building their book of business and enhancing your own sales capabilities. What You'll Do - Coordinating internally with all parties involved in cross-border operations, including but not limited to Mexico Account Executives, Border Operations Account Executives and Carrier Reps - Managing the load board for optimal visibility and ensuring all data is current and accurate - Execute problem solving and innovative thinking to improve and streamline processes. - Assist in tracking and updating load milestones including Border Operations Card - Coordinating pickup, crossing, and delivery scheduling and execution - Managing complemento carta porte processes. - Manage carrier representatives' books of business from Booked to Delivered. - Utilize internal tools to address accounting issues and manage load settlements to facilitate timely payments for carriers. - Publish truck listings for carriers, reach out on potential matches, and present load offers while refining your negotiation skills. - Facilitate load booking for your carrier representative, playing a key role in the continual growth of their business through your assistance. - Enter and update information accurately in ArriveNOW, from which you will be responsible for achieving daily metrics. Expectations will be set by the management team and reviewed regularly. - Make sure to remain up to date with all of our SOPs (Standard Operational Procedure). - Maintain strong service metrics while assisting rep in growth of business - Exemplify a level of assertiveness to identify issues and solve them. - Foster existing relationships with our carrier partners to allow us better access to real-time updates. - Gain knowledge of the transportation industry to better serve our customers, carriers, and drivers. - Guarantee that the quality of calls, updates, emails, and overall information is aligned with our parameters. - All communication related to permissions or any administrative inquiry must be escalated to your team leadership. - Work Schedule Mon-Fri from 0800-1700 hrs MX Central Time Qualifications - 6+ months experience as Carrier Success Representative - College degree preferred - Ability to work in a fast pace environment - Passion for quality customer service - Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize time-sensitive issues - Detail-oriented and thorough when presenting information - Organized when it comes to time management and deadlines - Able to work independently and collaboratively The Perks of Working With Us - Take advantage of our benefits including monthly grocery vouchers, vacation days, savings fund, medical insurance (including dental and vision plans) and more. - Leave the suit and tie at home; our dress code is casual. - Enjoy office wide engagement activities, team events, happy hours and more! - Work in our new Guadalajara office located in Torre 1500 (Av. Who We Want As a Claims Analyst, you will serve as a subject matter expert and critical problem solver, taking full ownership of a portfolio of complex and high-value cargo claims (frequently exceeding $100,000). You will drive comprehensive claim management from initiation to resolution, integrating strategic analysis of claims trends to identify risks and develop proactive solutions. This role demands astute financial oversight, a deep understanding of legal and financial instruments, and leadership in external communications and stakeholder relationships. You will leverage advanced industry knowledge and business acumen to optimize claims operations, ensure financial integrity, and mentor junior team members, acting as a key cross-functional leader to protect the company's interests and drive strategic outcomes. What You'll Do - Advanced Claims Operations & Trend Analytics: Independently manage a portfolio of complex cargo claims from initial filing to final resolution, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely handling. This includes skillfully negotiating settlements, precisely processing all related financial transactions, and analyzing claims trends to identify recurring issues and significant financial exposure, with actionable findings presented to leadership. - High-Level External Relations & Advocacy: Lead and manage all high-level external communications and relationships with minimal management assistance. Independently lead scheduled meetings with external parties, addressing complex inquiries, driving resolutions, and identifying actionable items to bring back to management for strategic consideration. - Financial Integrity & Legal Compliance: Comprehensively manage and reconcile all financial aspects of a claims portfolio, ensuring accurate balancing of all receivables and payables. Possess a deep understanding of the distinctions between various payment methods and the strategic reasons for issuing legal documents like releases and assignments of rights in advance of cash payments. Utilize financial insights from claim trends to inform proactive strategies and protect the company's financial interests. - Expert Claim Resolution & Mentorship: Master the management of complex and high-value claims, frequently exceeding $100,000. Leverage deep industry knowledge to navigate intricate investigations and apply a comprehensive understanding of regulations, terms, and conditions to all claim values. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on processing claims across the full range of values. - Operational Strategy & Cross-Functional Synergy: Leverage deep business acumen and a comprehensive understanding of the transportation industry to strategically oversee claim operations, optimizing efficiency and ensuring adherence to time standards across the team. Drive and foster highly effective, cooperative working relationships with all internal departments, acting as a key liaison to streamline processes and mentor others in collaborative best practices. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or 3 years of professional experience in customer service, administrative support, or the insurance industry. - 5+ years of experience managing claims required. Experience in cargo claims in a 3PL environment preferred. - Exceptional organization skills and high attention to detail. - Proficient in Google Suite; conduct basic risk analysis and general data reporting. - Superior written and verbal communication skills. You understand that proactive communication is key. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. - Strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills.
