Role Description The Online Permit Technician & Scheduler is responsible for coordinating permit processing and inspection scheduling activities in support of residential construction operations. This role serves as a central point of communication between builders, contractors, municipal agencies, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure permits and inspections are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This position manages the preparation, submission, tracking, and coordination of City and County permit applications while also overseeing inspection scheduling, route coordination, and customer communication. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and delivers a high level of customer service and organizational support. The Online Permit Technician & Scheduler primarily works in an office setting and focuses on digital permit administration, scheduling coordination, and operational support rather than in-person field work. Primary Responsibilities - Prepare, submit, and track permit applications for City and County jurisdictions - Review permit packets, plans, and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with jurisdictional requirements - Communicate with building departments to resolve corrections, missing information, permit comments, or clarification requests - Track permit statuses, approvals, corrections, inspection timelines, and expiration dates - Coordinate and schedule inspections based on builder timelines, field staff availability, and operational priorities - Manage high-volume incoming calls, emails, and scheduling requests from builders, contractors, inspectors, and internal teams - Analyze project information and inspection requirements to determine appropriate scheduling and routing - Proactively communicate scheduling changes, permit updates, delays, or missing information to clients and internal stakeholders - Upload, organize, and maintain digital records of permits, inspection documentation, approvals, and correspondence within company systems - Ensure geography-based assignment of inspections and field tasks to maximize operational efficiency - Serve as a primary point of contact regarding permit and scheduling status inquiries - Coordinate with field staff, engineers, inspectors, and operations teams to support timely project completion - Collect and verify permit fees, applications, and supporting documentation as required - Maintain current knowledge of permitting processes, municipal requirements, zoning regulations, and jurisdictional procedures - Identify process improvement opportunities to increase scheduling efficiency and reduce permit turnaround times - Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism in all communications - Assist with cross-functional support and additional administrative or operational duties as assigned Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent required - Experience in permitting, scheduling, construction administration, municipal services, customer service, or related administrative roles preferred - Knowledge of residential permitting, zoning, inspection scheduling, or construction operations is highly preferred - Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills - Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel - Experience with CRM systems, scheduling platforms, or Salesforce is a plus - Ability to manage high volumes of calls, emails, and scheduling requests simultaneously - Professional demeanor when interacting with municipal agencies, builders, contractors, and internal stakeholders - Reliable computer, phone, and internet access if working remotely - Typing proficiency and strong computer navigation skills preferred Benefits - 401(k) - 401(k) matching - Dental insurance - Employee assistance program - Health insurance - Health savings account - Life insurance - Paid time off - Referral program - Vision insurance

Role Description We are looking to hire an already certified Rater, or those with the experience/aptitude to be trained in time for the influx of work that comes in the Summer. A HERS rater tests HVAC systems based on Title 24 guidelines set by the State. A HERS Rater must be certified by one of the State Registries. - If you are already a certified HERS Rater please get in touch with us as we would love to meet with you. - If you are not yet a HERS Rater but would like a stable career in a growing field and are willing to put in the study to become a HERS Rater, we would be willing to train the right candidate. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate coordination of construction inspections and documentation in compliance with State Statutes and the requirements of the Authority Having Jurisdiction. The PC will be responsible for managing daily tasks related to verifying permits, scheduling inspections, uploading required documents, processing certificates for project closeout, supporting field staff, communicating with building departments as needed and performing other duties as requested. The Building Code Administrator ensures all ARCXIS services are performed in compliance with the Florida Building Code, local jurisdictional requirements, and state licensing regulations. The ideal candidate is a licensed Florida Building Code Administrator with strong experience in construction inspections, plan review, and regulatory coordination , capable of supporting a rapidly growing private provider platform. Key Responsibilities Regulatory Oversight - Serve as the licensed Building Code Administrator of record for ARCXIS Florida operations where required. - Ensure compliance with the Florida Building Code (FBC) and related statutes including FS 468 and FS 553.791 . - Maintain oversight of ARCXIS plan review and inspection services conducted as a Private Provider . - Ensure proper certification and licensing compliance for inspectors and plans examiners.
