If you have experience writing technical or regulated documents and enjoy structured, high quality written work, this role is a great fit. You’ll receive full training on containment assets, inspection processes and environmental guidance, with plenty of opportunity to build specialist knowledge. Job Description API653/EEMUA 159 Storage Tank Assessor Remote – With Travel to Sites Permanent, full-time Competitive salary plus benefits The NDT (Non-Destructive) Division requires an API 653/EEMUA 159 Tank Integrity Assessor to undertake Storage Tank assessments. As a Tank Assessor, you will be required to undertake testing, using non-destructive and non-intrusive methodology for tank testing using various specialise equipment in a variety of environments. You will also be expected to collect data via external surface testing whilst tanks/pipes are in situ and using the data collected, to create and provide reports presenting analysis from data gathered. More about the role: - Executing tests using procedures and methodology to determine condition and status of a tank, pipeline or similar and determine the lifeline and quality of the product. - All duties associated with the inspection of tanks/pipeline or similar including organizing and generating reports relating to inspection and evaluation, preparing and delivering all reports relating to the subject matter with recommendation for repair, replacement or other resolutory path. - Ensuring all equipment used for testing is full functioning and serviceable to maximum output and in strict accordance with manufacturers guidelines and relevant safety regulations.
