• Collaborate with business leaders and end-users to identify, analyze, and document business requirements. • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and system requirements. • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements gathering sessions. • Partner with developers, architects, and QA testers to ensure solutions meet business expectations. • Conduct gap analyses to identify process inefficiencies or system limitations. • Support the design and delivery of technical solutions, including participating in testing (UAT), troubleshooting, and validation. • Develop and maintain documentation such as process maps, requirement matrices, project plans, and application support materials. • Support development of Jira cards and project management plans. • Support change management activities, user training, and rollout support. • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements. • Ensure adherence to IT governance, compliance standards, and project methodologies.

• Support implementation and oversight of security controls in accordance with federal requirements and contract obligations • Monitor compliance with government security standards and contractual security obligations • Assist with system security planning, documentation, and authorization activities • Support risk assessments, vulnerability management, and remediation tracking • Coordinate security activities across technical, operational, and program teams • Maintain security artifacts such as: System Security Plans (SSPs), Security assessment reports, POA&Ms and risk registers, Incident response and contingency documentation • Support audits, inspections, and security reviews conducted by government stakeholders, OIG, or third parties • Assist with security incident identification, reporting, and response coordination • Provide security guidance and awareness to project teams and stakeholders • Prepare status reports, briefings, and documentation for government review

• Take code ownership of multiple different CloudFormation stacks containing a wide variety of in-production and highly-available cloud resources • Take code ownership of multiple AWS Lambda functions containing custom Python code which serves many business functions including ETL, data transformations, optical character recognition (OCR), API request processing, usage of external APIs, and querying of SQL & NoSQL databases • Assume monitoring & reporting tasks related to AWS resource activity, including Lambda invocation rates & errors, file ETL, data summaries, and data distribution & exportation

• Design and develop modern web application user interfaces using React (and related ecosystem tools) • Translate UX artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, design systems) into high-quality, reusable UI components • Implement responsive and mobile-first layouts compatible with modern browsers and devices • Ensure compliance with federal accessibility requirements (e.g., WCAG/Section 508) through semantic HTML, ARIA patterns, and testing • Collaborate with UX designers to refine interaction patterns, information architecture, and usability improvements • Integrate front-end components with APIs and services, coordinate with backend teams on contracts and performance considerations • Write unit/integration tests and participate in peer reviews to maintain quality and security standards • Support CI/CD pipelines and follow secure coding practices • Produce technical documentation and contribute to demo briefings for government stakeholders • Participate in Agile/Hybrid delivery, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews

• Apply statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques to address operational needs • Develop, validate, and deploy predictive, descriptive, and diagnostic models in support of program objectives • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and risk indicators • Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data requirements, feature engineering approaches, and analytic pipelines • Ensure analytical methods and outputs are explainable, reproducible, and auditable • Develop and document model assumptions, methodologies, limitations, and performance metrics • Support use cases such as forecasting, risk scoring, anomaly detection, classification, and segmentation • Create visualizations, dashboards, and analytical summaries to communicate findings to stakeholders • Support validation, testing, and continuous monitoring of models to ensure ongoing performance and compliance • Produce high-quality documentation, technical memos, and briefings in accordance with federal standards • Participate in Agile/Hybrid delivery processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and status reporting

• Support our operations within government-owned systems. • Become a self-sufficient developer within an environment that hosts WebFOCUS application & reporting servers with IBM WebSphere as its java application backend. • Take ownership of existing Java apps & related HTML-based webpages, and contribute to their expansion & modernization.

• Take ownership of several production databases across multiple architectures, including PostgreSQL, AWS Redshift, AWS Aurora, and AWS DynamoDB. • Use SQL & Python to establish ETL & regular monitoring processes that ensure database integrity and accuracy, and that alert the responsible parties of any issues that arise. • Redesign existing production database tables & schemas, and migrate the existing data to the new structures, with no downtime. • Document database architectures, with an emphasis on ease & efficiency of querying, and on the explanation of the substantive meaning and correct interpretation of the datapoints.

• Provide accurate & comprehensive data-driven results to answer business questions. • Answer follow-up questions regarding previous query results in a videoconference setting. • Familiarize with existing datasets and their correct interpretation for intelligent querying.
