This is a remote position. Role Overview 500 Global is seeking a senior leader to drive the execution of capital mobilization and support the structuring of private market development vehicles in partnership with governments, development finance institutions (DFIs), multilateral organizations, and philanthropic capital providers. This role will play a critical part in advancing investment platforms that catalyze venture capital and private investment ecosystems in emerging and frontier markets. These vehicles may combine public, philanthropic, and commercial capital to support entrepreneurship, innovation, and private-sector development aligned with national priorities. Working closely with the Managing Partner and senior leadership, the Head of Capital Mobilization will lead day-to-day execution of capital strategy, investor engagement, and transaction processes, ensuring successful design and delivery of investment vehicles. Key Responsibilities 1. Vehicle Structuring & Execution Lead the execution and coordination of country and regional-level investment platforms, including: - National venture capital funds - Fund-of-funds programs - Blended finance vehicles - Ecosystem development investment platforms Responsibilities include: - Translating high-level strategy into executable investment structures - Developing investment theses and detailed financial models - Designing and refining capital structures - Supporting governance design and implementation - Ensuring alignment with sovereign priorities and delivery timelines 2. Capital Mobilization & Investor Execution Own the execution of fundraising processes across development-oriented and institutional investor bases, including: - DFIs (IFC, EBRD, ADB, etc.) - Multilateral organizations - Government and bilateral agencies - Family offices and philanthropic capital - Strategic corporate partners This includes: - Managing investor pipelines and outreach processes - Preparing investment materials and structuring narratives - Coordinating and leading investor discussions (with senior leadership involvement as needed) - Driving conversion from interest to commitment Support the structuring and execution of capital stacks, including: - Catalytic and concessional capital layers - Anchor investor engagement - Risk mitigation structures 3. Government & Stakeholder Engagement (Execution-Focused) Support the development and execution of sovereign partnerships by working closely with senior leadership and public-sector counterparts. This includes: - Translating government priorities into actionable investment programs - Supporting structuring of national innovation investment initiatives - Coordinating with ministries, DFIs, and development partners - Managing stakeholder workflows and ensuring alignment across parties - Supporting delivery of broader programmatic initiatives linked to investment vehicles 4. Platform Delivery & Ecosystem Programs Drive implementation of ecosystem components linked to investment vehicles, ensuring effective delivery beyond capital deployment. This may include: - Manager and ecosystem development initiatives - Technical assistance programs - Co-investment structures - Founder and startup support platforms 5. Cross-Firm Execution & Coordination Act as a central execution lead across internal teams, including: - Venture Capital - Venture Development - Government Relations - Global Fundraising - Legal Ensure timelines, deliverables, and internal coordination are effectively managed across complex, multi-stakeholder projects. Requirements - 10+ years in investment banking, development finance, venture capital, private equity, or structured finance - Strong hands-on experience executing complex transactions or investment vehicles (including blended finance) - Experience working with governments, DFIs, or sovereign institutions - Demonstrated track record supporting or leading fundraising processes - Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills - Deep understanding of emerging and frontier markets
Growth Marketing Consultant

This is a remote position. The Growth Marketing Consultant will partner with 500 Global’s Education Team to drive measurable growth across the marketing funnel through data-driven acquisition strategies and rapid experimentation. The role will focus on increasing top-of-funnel awareness and improving conversion into investor education programs, with an immediate priority on generating qualified applications for Summer 2026 Bay Area programs. This consultant will design and execute scalable growth systems that complement existing program marketing efforts and deliver sustained, measurable impact over time. Audit the end-to-end marketing funnel to identify acquisition gaps, conversion bottlenecks, and performance opportunities. Evaluate positioning, audience segmentation, and value propositions against competitor investor education programs. Design and prioritize a structured experimentation roadmap focused on awareness, qualified lead generation, and enrollment growth. Define hypotheses, success metrics, and testing frameworks to drive disciplined, data-driven experimentation. Execute and iterate A/B tests across landing pages, messaging, email sequences, and acquisition channels. Test, optimize, and scale organic and paid acquisition channels, including social, email, partnerships, events, and community-driven distribution. Improve landing page performance, funnel instrumentation, and attribution tracking to enable clear performance insights. Redesign nurture flows and touchpoints to increase engagement, urgency, and application conversion rates. Introduce scalable growth loops, referral mechanisms, and repeatable acquisition systems where appropriate. Establish KPIs, document learnings, and deliver playbooks that enable sustained growth beyond the contract period.

• Lead global capital engagement strategies and serve as the key relationship manager for institutional partners advancing our work in climate, gender equity, economic opportunity, and health in Africa. • Contribute to and execute 500 Global’s capital engagement strategy across Africa for the Sustainable Growth division. • Identify and develop initiatives that connect innovation, sustainable finance, and development priorities to accelerate sustainable growth across Africa and in the Global Majority. • Stay at the forefront of developments and innovations in sustainable finance, venture philanthropy, and impact investing to position 500 Global as a trusted leader and innovator in the sector. • Monitor and capitalize on trends in global development finance, blended capital structures, and public–private partnerships to inform pipeline development and long-term strategy. • Translate high-level vision into actionable strategies, implementation plans, and measurable outcomes—driving coordination, accountability, and performance across teams. • Advise the Director, Managing Partner and COO on partnership strategy, capital deployment opportunities, and organizational positioning across Africa, providing clear analysis and recommendations to guide senior decision-making. • Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of partnerships with DFIs, multilaterals, corporates, and foundations focused on sustainable growth across Africa, with lasting impact on health, agriculture, gender, climate, and using AI as a key enabler. • Develop high-quality, trust-building materials for partners—including proposals, investment memos, strategic briefs, and co-branded thought leadership content. • Work closely with internal investment, communications, and impact teams to integrate partnership insights into strategy, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. • Cultivate long-term partnerships with DFIs, multilaterals, foundations, corporations, family offices, and institutional LPs across Africa. • Serve as a key relationship manager for existing and prospective capital partners, ensuring consistent engagement, strategic alignment, and delivery against partnership objectives in the region and across the Global Majority. • Represent 500 Global at major investor forums, policy dialogues, and development finance convenings to advance the firm’s thought leadership and strategic relationships.
