Role Description This role involves supporting the U.S. Pharma Market Team as a Field Access Manager for the remote New York/NJ/Eastern Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Territory. You will utilize your knowledge of payer insurance coverage, prior authorizations, patient affordability programs, and the local managed-care landscape to assist provider offices and their patients in accessing Alcon products. - Manage strategic relationships with healthcare providers (HCPs), HCP Staff, and pharmacies within your assigned geography. - Partner with field sales in assigned geographic area to build strong engagement and positive customer experiences with the Alcon pharmaceutical portfolio. - Educate providers on payer access policies and processes related to prior authorization requirements and denials/appeals process. - Analyze local market data and healthcare dynamics to help inform business planning with field teams. - Collaborate with the Market Access team to develop payer and pull-through action plans. - Provide managed care and reimbursement training and related education for internal and external stakeholders. - Remain current on managed care, reimbursement, and health policy activities, serving as an expert on healthcare trends for provider accounts and internal stakeholders. - Represent Alcon at various industry functions such as payer and reimbursement meetings, professional organization meetings, and other meetings as assigned.
