• Drive user experience and interface design for the Election Administration Platform (EAP) • Create wireframes, prototypes, and design artifacts aligning the team toward a shared vision • Screen, onboard, and manage a team of volunteer designers and user researchers • Provide oversight and quality assurance on volunteer design work • Define end-to-end user flows incorporating technical information architecture, systems thinking, and design principles • Plan and facilitate user research in collaboration with research specialist volunteers

• Design high-quality user experiences for conversations, browsing, product discovery, and purchase flows. • Own the end-to-end product design across desktop and mobile web, with future native mobile considerations. • Define and evolve interaction patterns for agent behaviors, multimodal flows, and responsive UI. • Drive the visual and interaction language of the product, including motion and animation principles. • Lead discovery work: shaping user journeys, flows, and high-level information architecture. • Produce high-fidelity visual designs, interaction specs, and prototypes. • Build prototypes ranging from low-fidelity explorations to polished interaction models. • Partner closely with product and engineering to scope features, validate solutions, and iterate quickly. • Collaborate with Product Experience on user testing, feedback sessions, and internal demos to refine UX. • Perform competitive research and stay current on best practices in AI-powered and agentic interfaces. • Set design quality standards as Wizard grows and potentially mentor future designers.

• Partner closely with product designers across multiple teams to support active projects through pair design, iteration, and refinement • Help with fit and finish across designs, polishing layouts, typography, spacing, color, and interaction details • Ensure designs are aligned with Life360’s design system, visual language, and interaction patterns • Create high-fidelity mockups, production-ready screens, and design assets in Figma • Design interactive prototypes to communicate flows, behaviors, and micro-interactions • Contribute to interaction design and motion concepts; animation experience is a strong plus • Support design reviews by tightening visuals, clarifying interactions, and elevating overall quality • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are feasible, clear, and well-documented • Help maintain and evolve the design system through thoughtful application and feedback

• Lead product design across multiple high-impact initiatives, from zero-to-one concepts through polished, production-ready experiences. • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape product strategy, user flows, service architecture, data requirements, and technical constraints early in the process. • Think deeply about edge cases, states, error flows, and data integrity, producing designs that anticipate real-world usage and give developers exactly what they need. • Translate complex business and user needs into simple, cohesive experiences that drive measurable outcomes. • Evolve and scale Figure’s design system, ensuring consistency and innovation across products. • Raise the quality bar for visual craft, interaction patterns, systems thinking, and UX rigor. • Mentor and provide design critique to senior and mid-level designers, fostering a culture of craft, collaboration, and continuous learning. • Collaborate cross-functionally to influence product decisions and align teams around a shared vision. • Represent design at the executive level, communicating design rationale and customer insights clearly to stakeholders.
