• Own delivery across the Passenger iOS, Android and Web applications, clearing blockers and keeping releases predictable • Remain actively involved in technical implementation, design discussions and code reviews, setting the bar for engineering quality • Drive the integration of Masabi's Justride SDK and public APIs into Passenger applications • Lead application migrations, release management, rollout planning and deployment activities • Support engineering practices that enable effective delivery across the team • Lead and support a team of engineers through regular 1:1s, coaching, performance feedback and clear development conversations • Create an environment where engineers can grow, develop and do their best work • Partner closely with Product and Engineering stakeholders to align priorities, delivery plans and team goals • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture • Contribute to hiring, onboarding and team growth activities as needed • Provide visibility on delivery progress, risks and dependencies to stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Strong hands-on engineer at heart, current in at least one native platform (Swift/UIKit or Kotlin/Coroutines) and able to move confidently across both
  • You’ve led technical delivery across engineering teams, owning quality through code review and design guidance rather than stepping back from the work
  • You've managed and grown engineers directly, running 1:1s, coaching and honest feedback
  • Comfortable in multi-tenant or white-label products, where one codebase serves many customers with different needs
  • Experience delivering and evolving production applications, including migrations or modernisation efforts
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in SDK and API integrations
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools and able to demonstrate how you’ve incorporated them into engineering workflow
  • A calm communicator who keeps stakeholders aligned and can hold the balance between coding and leading
