Job Description
Senior Product Designer
Codility
• Drive the end-to-end design process: Take ownership of design from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring a user-centered approach at every stage. Use AI tools to move faster through exploration, divergence, and iteration without compromising quality. • Design AI-powered experiences: Help define how AI capabilities surface in our products, designing for trust, transparency, and usefulness in features powered by models and agents. Develop strong intuition for what AI does well, where it fails, and how to design for both. • Prototype with AI: Use AI-assisted prototyping and code-generation tools to produce realistic, testable prototypes quickly, shortening the path from idea to validated learning. • Contribute to the design system: Work with our design system to ensure consistency while helping to improve and expand our component library, including patterns for AI-driven interactions. Serve as a primary domain expert in Codility product design. Foster a collaborative and inclusive design culture by providing feedback, coaching, guidance, and mentorship to other designers, including how to use AI tools well. • Conduct design reviews and iterate: Facilitate design reviews and gather feedback from the team, incorporating their insights to refine and iterate on design solutions. • Conduct user research and gather insights: Run research activities such as interviews, surveys, and usability tests to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and behavior. Use AI to help synthesize research, surface patterns, and turn findings into actionable design improvements, while keeping a critical eye on what the models miss. • Create intuitive and visually appealing designs: Apply your expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design to create intuitive, engaging interfaces. Produce high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and specifications that clearly communicate your concepts. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work within an autonomous team led by a product trio (designer, product manager, and engineering manager) to ensure seamless collaboration and effective execution. • Communicate with clarity: Articulate design concepts and rationale clearly in writing and verbally. Write strong UX copy in English, and use AI thoughtfully to draft, refine, and pressure-test that copy.
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience in product design: Minimum of 5 years as a designer in a product development team, with a strong portfolio demonstrating problem solving, product thinking and measurable impact. Preference for SaaS and B2B experience; engineer-facing products a plus.
- Hands-on experience with AI design tools: Practical fluency with AI tools in your workflow, such as AI features in Figma, AI prototyping and code-generation tools, and LLM-based assistants for ideation, research synthesis, and copy. Bonus if you've designed AI-powered product features yourself.
- Proficiency in design tools: Proficient in industry-standard tools such as Figma and modern prototyping tools.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles: Demonstrated expertise in user-centered methodologies, user research, interaction design, and information architecture, with the ability to translate user insights into actionable solutions.
- Strategic mindset: Strong strategic thinking with the capacity to contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions, including where and how AI can create real user value. Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex design challenges, identify key issues, and propose innovative solutions. Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative environment, and able to use AI to expand the range of options you can test.
- Continuous learning mindset: Strong passion for learning and staying current with design trends, emerging technologies, and AI capabilities. Quick to adopt and critically evaluate new processes and tools.
- Sound judgment about AI: A point of view on when to lean on AI and when not to, with care for quality, accessibility, ethics, and the craft that makes design genuinely good.

Staff Experience Designer
InstacartInstacart invites the world to share love through food. This is how homemade is made.
• Drive and lead experiences across consumer-facing products to create highly personalized journeys that meet households where they are — their routines, their needs, their goals — and build new layers of value into the core grocery experience. • Lead end-to-end experience design briefs across all surfaces and modalities, including agentic interfaces, that deepen how customers discover, shop, and build lasting habits with Instacart. • Craft narratives, naming, and value propositions for experiences and features, creating artifacts (strategy docs, flows, storyboards, internal decks) that help teams socialize strategies and ideas. • Define and own experience frameworks that map key journeys (first 3 orders, building repeat patterns, subscription adoption, household management) and clearly articulate the beats, rhythms, and jobs to be done at each step. • Shape content, hierarchy, and information architecture across surfaces: define how information is structured, named, and prioritized so users have clear comprehension at every step while the business and partners get the right visibility where it matters. • Codify experiential principles, functional and emotional, to guide what users should understand, decide, and feel across flows, then translate those principles into patterns, content hierarchies, and interaction rules that scale across teams. • Use AI-assisted prototyping and concept development as a core part of your practice, providing strong art direction, references, and experiential intent to generate flows and concepts that align with Instacart's design system, brand positioning, and evolving interaction patterns. • Design for visual clarity, pacing, and density, establishing patterns, grids, and rules that govern how modules, carousels, and key placements work (above vs. below the fold) to balance user needs, business objectives, and partner value. • Work with Research, and sometimes lead or plan it yourself, to uncover insights about how customers shop, build routines, and evolve over their lifecycle with Instacart, then translate those insights into concrete journey maps, flows, and experiential principles. • Raise the bar for experience-led thinking across the pods, mentoring partners on how to think in journeys and emotions rather than just screens, and advocating for cohesive, principle-driven experiences that feel uniquely Instacart.
