Position Title: CRM Manager Reports To: Deputy Director of Operations & Culture About Us The Movement Innovation Collaborative (MIC) is a new time-limited entity that will deepen and expand the capacity, impact, and sustainability of California's grassroots movements for racial justice and social transformation. Through offerings that are additive and synergistic with existing movement efforts, the MIC will support changemakers and organizations in catalyzing innovations in movement strategy, power-building, intergenerational leadership development, and collective long-term sustainability and resilience. Through a network of physical and virtual "centers," the MIC will also contribute a key piece of infrastructure to fuel transformative structural change across California. This network will comprise new and existing centers serving hundreds of organizations and tens of thousands of grassroots leaders across California. Position Overview The CRM Manager leads and executes the design, build, and maintenance of the MIC’s Salesforce CRM database, under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Operations and Culture and in close collaboration with the Data Strategist and the program team. This position is responsible for building on our initial CRM discovery with additional detailed discovery and then designing and configuring a Salesforce instance from the ground up. What You’ll Be Doing The person in this role must bring a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform options for nonprofits, along with the ability to understand our organizational needs and translate them into an effectively configured Salesforce instance.
