• Manage end-to-end import processes in compliance with Saudi local laws and regulations. • Oversee complex seaport operations and clear freight through land border customs smoothly. • Apply precise Incoterms 2020 rules to minimize corporate risk and optimize shipping costs. • Resolve customs delays, duty disputes, and documentation discrepancies with authorities. • Navigate a matrix organization to align logistics with sales, procurement, and legal teams. • Maintain accurate tracking dashboards to provide shipment visibility to regional stakeholders. • Ensure all regional operations strictly adhere to international trade compliance policies. • Travel across the region up to 20% to audit vendors and resolve operational bottlenecks. • Build strong relationships with local freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in logistics and international trade.
  • Proven track record working within an international or matrix corporate structure.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Expert knowledge of Saudi Customs systems (e.g., Fasah platform, ZATCA).
  • Deep functional understanding of sea freight documentation (Bill of Lading, COO, Commercial Invoice).
  • Advanced mastery of global Incoterms.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel frequently within the ME region.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle high-pressure port environments.

Role Description This role exists to maintain reliable order placement, supplier coordination, and stock visibility across all manufacturing relationships, and to provide the client’s commercial leadership with early, reliable warning of any supply risk before it becomes a stock-out or delivery failure. Purchase Order Management - Monitor sell-through and run rates across all retailers and markets, and proactively flag when a purchase order needs to be raised ahead of stock running short. - Use the client’s internal order history and trend data as an input to run rate analysis and proactive PO flagging. - Place and confirm purchase orders with all contract manufacturers across NZ, SA, and USA, and with the packaging supplier. - Track PO status from placement through supplier confirmation, production, and dispatch. - Flag any supplier delay, quantity discrepancy, or pricing variance immediately upon becoming aware of it. Logistics Coordination - Coordinate freight and shipping timelines with manufacturers and freight partners for each destination market. - Monitor inbound shipment status and proactively flag delays against expected arrival dates. - Maintain accurate records of lead times by manufacturer and lane, accounting for the packaging supplier’s approximate 35-day production cycle plus sea freight per destination. Stock Control and Reporting - Maintain visibility of stock cover by SKU and market using Cin7 Core across the relevant territory subsidiaries. - Calculate and report stock cover in weeks against an agreed minimum threshold. - Raise any SKU falling below the agreed stock cover threshold as an immediate flag. Reporting Cadence - Provide a structured weekly update to the client covering: - POs placed and confirmed in the period, by manufacturer - POs pending action or awaiting supplier confirmation - Inbound shipment status and any delays - Stock cover flags for any SKU/market below threshold - Blockers requiring input from the client - During periods requiring closer visibility, updates may be requested on a shorter cycle. Qualifications - Prior experience in a supply chain, procurement, or logistics coordination role. - Experience placing and managing purchase orders directly with suppliers or manufacturers. - Experience working with international suppliers across multiple countries and time zones. - Experience coordinating container and sea freight shipments, including booking, tracking, and shipping documentation. - Hands-on experience with Cin7 or a comparable inventory/ERP system. - Hands-on experience with Xero or a comparable accounting platform. - Hands-on experience with ClickUp or a comparable project/task management tool. - Confident daily user of Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets). - Excellent communication skills – clear, proactive, and confident. - Exceptional organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. - Self-directed and comfortable operating with minimal day-to-day supervision.
