Senior Oracle APEX, Database Administrator

• Manage and maintain Oracle databases (19c and newer) across multiple environments • Perform database installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations • Implement backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery solutions • Monitor database performance and tune SQL, memory, and storage • Manage database security, roles, and access controls • Support PDB/CDB architecture, and database consolidation strategies • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle APEX and ORDS environments • Manage APEX schemas, users, and workspace configurations • Support APEX application deployments and lifecycle management • Troubleshoot APEX performance, session management, and runtime issues • Configure ORDS connections, pools, and security integration • Manage multi-environment setups (DEV, QA, PROD) • Provide Tier 3 support for database and APEX incidents • Develop automation scripts for deployments, monitoring, and maintenance • Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements

Job Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
  • Strong experience with Oracle APEX and ORDS administration
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle 19c+ database architecture
  • PL/SQL, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Linux/Unix environments
  • Backup/recovery strategies (RMAN)
  • Database upgrades and migrations
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments
