Role Description - Analizar la estructura actual de bases de datos legadas y proponer estrategias de migración a nuevas arquitecturas en SQL Server. - Diseñar e implementar procesos de extracción, transformación y carga (ETL) para la consolidación de información histórica. - Realizar ingeniería inversa para documentar esquemas, dependencias y relaciones entre objetos. - Monitorear la ejecución y desempeño de las migraciones, proponiendo mejoras continuas en los procesos de carga y transformación. Qualifications - Experiencia mínima de 3 años administrando y desarrollando bases de datos en SQL Server (2012 a 2019). - Experiencia en migración de datos, ingeniería inversa y reingeniería de estructuras de base de datos. - Conocimiento avanzado en modelado de datos relacionales y optimización de consultas (query tuning). - Experiencia en estrategias de respaldo, restauración y mantenimiento de bases de datos. Requirements - Deseable: Experiencia en la creación de reportes y dashboards en Power BI para el análisis de datos migrados o de rendimiento de bases de datos.

• Manages the performance, security, and maintenance of databases within Saint Francis Health System (SFHS). • Ensures data integrity, perform system backups, optimizes performance, and supports users while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. • Designs and implements database structures based on organizational requirements. • Conducts systems analysis to understand and address database needs in alignment with business processes. • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for database solutions. • Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties for moderately complex workflows and systems. • Monitors and optimizes database performance, including tuning queries and database configurations. • Implements and manages security measures to protect sensitive data, including access controls and encryption. • Develops and maintains backup procedures and disaster recovery plans to ensure data availability and integrity. • Ensures data accuracy, consistency, and reliability within the database. • Maintains and updates SQL code to correct errors and enhance functionality. • Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards and assists with audits. • Partners with business process experts to learn and understand database problems, making recommendations for enhancements and solutions. • Plans for future database capacity and storage needs, assessing current usage and forecasting growth. • Troubleshoots and resolves database related issues to minimize downtime and data loss.

• Own the migration of OEC’s database workloads to AWS managed services • Plan and execute database migrations to AWS using DMS and SCT • Architect and operate AWS managed database environments • Implement and maintain database infrastructure as code using Terraform • Lead cross-functional incident response and formal root cause analysis • Manage database systems for resiliency, scalability, performance, and availability • Enforce data governance and security using AWS tools • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level DBAs

• Track and maintain database standards. • Follow governance policies and best practices for database management and usage across the enterprise. • Perform installation and upgrades of the database server and application tools on time and per standards. • Enforce controls and monitor user access to the database. • Implement security measures to safeguard the database. • Monitor the performance, security, and uptime of all database systems. • Ensure that patches are identified and applied to systems in line with documented security and database best practices. • Assist in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures. • Maintain database backup and recovery plans to safeguard critical data against loss or corruption. • Follow Change Management processes to implement database configuration changes. • Follow Problem Management processes to troubleshoot and resolve recurring issues. • Proactively monitor and respond to database alerts. • Respond to and resolve tickets and new build requests within SLA guidelines. • Act as a mentor within the DBA team and broader organization, providing guidance, training, and knowledge sharing. • On-call rotation to ensure 24 x 7 support of database operations.
