MSP Systems Administrator, Automation Engineer – Microsoft Power Platform, Scripting

Search

• Report directly to an Australia-based Chief Operating Officer. • Contribute to eliminating manual effort, designing custom integrations, and driving overall business efficiency. • Identify and streamline repetitive manual processes using tools like Microsoft Power Platform, HubSpot, and custom scripting. • Connect business systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and connectors to ensure seamless cross-platform workflows. • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and virtualized enterprise environments. • Build, test, and cloud applications using source control platforms and CI/CD pipelines (such as GitLab or GitHub). • Manage managed service provider (MSP) ticketing queues, resolve complex escalation points, and maintain high system uptime.

Job Requirements

  • Over 3 years of experience in Microsoft Systems Administration (including Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML, and Windows Server environments).
  • Practical experience designing solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
  • Solid capability writing clean, reusable code in Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
  • Proven experience utilizing REST APIs, webhooks, and modern version control (GitLab or GitHub).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex technical workflows into clear business processes.
  • Active Microsoft, Cisco, or cloud certifications (bonus).
  • Familiarity with HubSpot workflows and CRM automation (bonus).
  • Experience in Cisco Meraki environments or Apple Business Manager (bonus).
  • Familiarity with containerization or deploying cloud apps to PaaS platforms (bonus).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or ISO 27001 standards and compliance protocols (bonus).
