Strategic Accounts Technical Representative

Seaman Corporation

• Coordinating technical support for Strategic Projects or portfolio of projects based on region or Strategic Account needs. • Conduct in-progress roof site visits to monitor installation quality, ensure adherence to roofing practices and specifications, and address any issues or concerns during installation. • Provide ongoing communication regarding project status and assist the Strategic Account Project Manager and team with issue resolution. • Collaborate with Owner Representatives, General Contractors, Architects, Consultants to address and resolve project related issues. • Offer technical assistance to FiberTite Strategic accounts and technical team as needed. • Work closely with local FiberTite Technical Representatives to ensure project needs are met. • Train Seaman Corporation’s Authorized Applicators, and FTR associates, on the correct use and installation of FiberTite products and roofing systems. • Conduct final inspections of FiberTite Roof System installations to confirm compliance with technical and warranty requirements per FiberTite guidelines. • Support Strategic Account Business Development Managers and sales teams with technical assistance with their sales efforts. • Investigate warranty claim issues, including performing necessary repairs as directed by FiberTite Warranty Services. • Adhere to company expense and vehicle policies. • Follow all environmental, safety, and company guidelines to ensure compliance. • Maintain consistent communication with FiberTite Technical Services team to ensure project coordination and knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 5-10 years of experience in a technical or product management related position in the single-ply roofing market, preferably with thermoplastic membranes (KEE, PVC, TPO, Modified Bitumen) is desired but not a requirement.
  • Registered Roof Observer (RRO) is desired but not required.
  • Basic PC skills, i.e., Word Perfect, Excel Spreadsheet, email, Internet.
  • Ability to read and understand basic construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications, and perform basic estimating.
  • Fundamental knowledge of roofing materials and roofing systems.
  • Fundamental knowledge of roof leak detection methods, and determination of corrective repairs, associated with single-ply roofing systems.
  • Ability to listen & comprehend, and express oneself both verbally in writing, including report writing.
  • Working knowledge of building codes, i.e., FM, UL, Miami-Dade.
